Articulated and Parted MWO Catapult 3D Print Model
Summary
i am bad at summary and english…
Note 1) Smaller revoloute Joints that did’t given specific Pin Model use 1.75mm Fillaments as pin.
Note 2) Revolute Axiess given 0.05mm toleance and other assmble joints given no tolerance in design so you will need some accuracy fit part together.
Note 3) you may need glue to weld part together which it will need when weld smaller parts on body
Note 4) Some joints and attach points may need put some a bit of tissue for comensate tolerance in order to keep tension on joints.
Note 6) if you want change scale i recommand you load Introduction STL on your editer whatever you use and edit then extract one by one if possible
Note 7) this modification work may completed but it will stay in ‘This Thing is a Work-In-Progress’ untill anyone proven this can be printed well in other printers especially Reprep which i afriad it may can not printed well with my supports.

Vanishing Coin Accessory 3D Print Model
Summary
This is an accessory for the Magic Makers Vanishing Coin Trick. This is a replacement for the plastic ring that comes with the set.
The trick is cool. And can be bought here https://www.amazon.com/Magic-Makers-Vanishing-Coin-Ultimate/dp/B00TYP4QKC. However my plastic ring broke, making the trick worthless. I didn’t want to pay another $30 for a silly stepped plastic ring when I have a 3D printer, thus I give you a five cent replacement. Good as new or even better than the original!

Phone and Cable Holder for Samsung Charger 3D Print Model
Summary
This is a small charging station that holds your phone and keeps the cables organized. There are a few samsung charging stations that hold your phones, but this one will keep the cable organized as well.
When plugged into outlets that hold the charger tightly, the phone can be placed upright or vertically on the charging station, but when the charger droops in the outlet, the phone will have to be placed on it side so it doesnt bend anything. This is a work in progress because I’d like to angle the phone relative to the charger, so this wont be an issue.

Anet Autolevel sensor mount(V6 hotend + Bowden) 3D Print Model
Summary
I originally printed the first one. I really like the design. The only problem is that the sensor sits too low to use the v6 hotend with a bowden extrusion setup. The highest you can raise it on the original, you were stil about 4mm away from the print surface.
So I chopped it a bit to make it higher, and gave it some more adjustment room.
I have not tested it. I haven’t had a chance to print it yet as the printer is not quite together yet. -

OpenSCAD HD Stepper Motors and Gearbox mockups 3D Print Model
Summary
This is an OpenSCAD library for displaying high detail, visually accurate stepper motors, with or without gearbox, for use in mockups of larger assemblies (eg. a RepRap 3D printer, or other robots).
There are Nema11 and Nema17 versions currently, but the script could probably be adapted for other sizes of stepper motors as well..
This model is not intended to be 3D printed, but for visualizing in OpenSCAD, checking fit of assemblies, making pretty screenshots and animations, etc.
Motor and gearbox internals are not modeled accurately(or at all!), their beauty is only skin deep.
This script requires the Open Source BOLTS library by jreinhardt for the hex cap bolts. -

Scalpel case 3D Print Model
Summary
This is the scalpel carrying and storage case we’ve been working on for some time now. The idea is to create a case able to hold one, three or five scalpels safely. It must be safe and hold the scalpels securely enough to put in a bag or pocket without it opening or breaking.
We tested this with different scalpels and blades. It will fit most scalpels, Swann-Morton no 3, and a bunch of unbranded ones. A version for Swann-Morton no 4 or for other types will be uploaded upon request.
Be sure your print has good layer adhesion and is strong enough for the forces it has to withstand before tossing it in a bag or somewhere it might hurt someone if broken. Scalpels are designed to cut flesh, so be careful.
This is the result of our scalpel tray study, http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2099632
We are already deep into development of version two, which is possibly going to be thing no: 2380454.
This thing is designed to be printed with both parts standing up. -

Cup holder mount for inductive charger 3D Print Model
Summary
I wanted a convenient way to hold my phone and charge it without fumbling for cables every time I got in or out of my vehicle. This is designed to fit a 2014 F-250 cup-holder with the rubber insert removed (camelback water-bottle sized). The phone clamp portion printed very easily, but the cup section required quite a bit of tweaking with the supports to get it right. Initially printed upside down, but the final version was right-side up. Printed in ASA on a Taz 5, 255 c extrusion temp, 105 c bed temp. -

Megaminx 3D Print Model
Summary
When I started printing the Reuleauxminx that I posted last week, I began running into some issues that I hadn’t foreseen. To make the necessary tweaks, I decided to get a normal megaminx working first (simpler external piece geometries = faster prototyping).
Here’s the result, a rough but functional megaminx. No center caps, so you’ll have to deal with exposed screws unless you remix the design, and the clearances are a bit iffy, so be prepared to sand accordingly. I’ll get around to a higher quality version of this later, but I really want a physical reuleauxminx in my hands as soon as possible, so I’m moving on to that. -

Anet a6 prusa i3 led plate holder 3D Print Model
Summary
I designed this for my anet a6 prusa i3 3d printer. Every time I was printing I needed a flashlight to see in detail what the printer was doing. At first I wanted to add lights to the frame but since the extrude is moving there was never a perfect spot without shadow. So I measured the aluminum extruder base and made a 3d model of it. Then designed something so it would fit the led plate I had. I think I found the same Led in the link below but i am not sure. For the costs it is worth trying. And if not you have to change the clamping part in acad yourself to make it fit to the different measurements of the new led plate. The file is made for a led plate of 47X20 mm.
The power leads are put together with the rest of the extruder cables and go to a switch. power is taken from the powersupply. The led plate will consume just minimal power so no worries if the powersupply can feed the led’s.
order the led plate here:

Post-PrintingYou can tell that the print itself didn’t turn out too good on my side. My printer is quite cheap, and during the printing of the two parts I had to buy a new filament (gray), which appears to be worse in quality.
During printing, the sides cracked/separated, and I used tape to keep it from breaking any further.
Later on I glued on everything that looked structurally weak. Looks ugly, but I intend to paint the whole thing later anyways.

Stackable Box V4 full / half height with split variants + trays with various splits 3D Print Model
Summary
A set of Stackable BOX components I found most useful. Everything is redrawn from scratch.
Included STLs:
regular box
regular box with divider
half height box, properly edited (not just a scaled down version of the regular size
half height box with divider
tray
tray divided to half
tray divided into 4
tray divided into 6
One box fits exactly 4 trays, I tend to use half height boxes with 2 trays for really small parts.
Everything is printable without supports, 0.2 – 0.3 mm layer height is recommended, with 0.4 mm nozzle.
I opted to redraw everything as the original design had issues I realised when I imported the STL and tried to edit it – it had inaccuracies, non perfectly parallel faces, and minor glitches that made much more difficult to add the dividers that I needed than it should be. It’s still 100% compatible with the original one, and stacks nicely with those as well.
Enjoy!

Solid Notes:
The support material can get tricky on this one.
If you have dissolvable support material with a dual-extruder printer, then you’re in luck. Just use Jazza_033_No_Supports.stl
I had use Jazza_33_big_supports.stl , in which I sculpted my own supports AND turned support material on. The custom supports constrain the places that point down, like the fingers. The auto-generated support material holds the big parts, like the backs of his shirt and head. Layer height should be relatively low to preserve detail. I chose 0.15mm . Afterwards, I used a dremel with a carving bit to remove the thick columns and produce/reveal the shapes of the the tips of the hair, the back of the shoes, and the back of the fingers, and the base of the pencil. The eraser fits on separately. You may need glue to hold it in place. I used SOLID INFILL so that when I carved into the columns, there were no hollow parts exposed.
Post-Printing
I used standard acrylic paint to produce the colors. I recommend painting one color at a time, allowing it to dry in between. Be careful where you put your hands as you turn the piece! It is easy to track paint from one place to another with gloves on accident. You can find more detailed an meticulous guides to model painting elsewhere online. -

Shower knob ring 3D Print Model

At home we have a shower which has two knobs, one for the temperature and another for the water flow. Both knobs have a button which has to be pressed to fully turn the knob, with the temperature knob this is kinda obvious because you don’t accidentally want to twist the knob to the highest temperature, but I always want the water flow to be on the highest setting so I was annoyed by the button I have to press every time I twist the knob, so I made a ring which holds down the button.
This ring is for an elliptical knob with a width of 40mm and a height of 45mm

Exchange-A-Blade Utility Knife PLA Optimization 3D Print Model
Summary
This is a remix of the EAB utility blade.
Motivation:
I found that the original EAB when printed in PLA would have the locking mechanism snap off very easily. There was also no way to flush mount the screw and retaining nut.
Overview of changes:
Re-designed the locking mechanism for PLA. (Moved it over and reinforced the piece)

Printing PLA at 0.2 resolution I had some difficulty with tolerances. This lead to the blade not moving smoothly. I would suggest 0.1 resolution, but it takes longer. At 0.1 resolution in Cura, it would have taken somewhere closer to 3-4 hours. At 0.2 resolution, it took 2:25 hours.

RT Assault Gun (Vindicator class) 3D Print Model
Summary
It was a time of great Civil War
…in miniature.
This is a 6mm assault gun variant of the futuristic armored troop transport.
It has had a few of the fixes that are coming for the troop transport, tank and command variants. There is a piece to help the roadwheels and tracks to stay together during removal of supports or from the printbed. A few small details have been moved slightly to make a better placement and complete model.

Turbo Everdrive Shell (updated for V2) 3D Print Model
Summary
This is based upon the excellent Turbo Everdrive Shell by DogP. I’ve updated this to work on my v2.1 (I expect it’ll work on other V2s as well, and would love for people to tell me what versions it works on) and made a few other changes.
Changes from original ‘no text label’ version:
removed/rearranged some of the support structure under the surface of the shell to fit the V2
added some more side wall structure where it was safe to do so to make up for the other change
slightly widened the hole near the region switch
relocated the window for the LED to match V2’s placement (I eyeballed it and lucked out)
shortened the outer perimeter lip on the corner near the micro SD slot so that this is compatible with the Turbo Duo and PC Engine Duo models (previously you had to snip that part off)
attempted to add a bit of ‘flex’ to the reset button cover – not sure if successful
I’m sure there’s room for further improvement; I’ll either upload a new version of this remix here or I might make a whole new one in another program. -

RV Camper Cabinet Latch Striker 3D Print Model

The cabinet latches in my camper have been systematically breaking one by one. Can’t buy just the striker/catch plate, have to buy a completely new latch. So I used my new 3d printer to replicate them. They work perfect!!

DJI Mavic Pro Simple Battery Clip (With Charge Indicators) 3D Print Model
Summary
A slight amendment to my previous design https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2398749 this version includes a battery icon on the bbase of the aprt. This way you can use one to mark fully charges vs discharged batteries. Makes it easy to tell at a glance which are ready to go and which need charging. I print the charged ones in green and the discharged ones in red!
A very simple little battery clip to cover the fairly exposed battery contacts on the DJI Mavic Pro’s Battery.
The clip is JUST big enough to fit over the contacts and the first time may take some pressure and trial and error to get it to go on, after this it should be a very snug fit.
I keep a few spares in my bag as these are friction fit, eventually they’re going to become loose, so I always have a spare.
I have included the STL and SKP file in case you wish to make any changes, but the design works well for me/my printer. -

Squeeze clip for filament spool spindle / axle 3D Print Model
Summary
For my Anet A8 I wanted a quick release alternative to the supplied M8 nuts, so I designed this squeeze clip. To use just squeeze the arms together slightly to release the grip on the rod and slide off. They won’t grip as well as a nut with lock nut, but it works fine to hold the spindle in place.
I made 2 sizes one for the stock M8 threaded rod with an inside diameter of 7mm and a smaller one for a 6.4mm guide rod I salvaged for a scanner, used for a different spool stand.

0.2mm Notes:
I used a wide skirt to help with bed adhesion, My printer isn’t keen on small parts and I lose accuracy without the skirt. Your printer may vary.
The needed supports are all built in and will snap off. I print the clips with 4 lines on the walls / shells hence the 0% infill. I tried printing with thinner walls and 20% infill, but the clips were prone to snapping.
Post-Printing
Trim any skirt and stringing. The support in the gap between the rings that allows the clip to flex, will break free the first time the clip arms are squeezed.
There may be a small amount of support material that needs freeing up from the gap. I used tweezers and a craft knife.

Greg´s Extruder 9:47 3D Print Model
Summary
Well this is a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:961630 extruder, with very little changes to satisfy my needs. One of that is 9:47 gears ratio that in my case give me a 24mm3/s filament flow with 1.75mm filament. This design use:
3 – 608 bearing
1 – M8 50mm Hobbed Bolt with hob centered at 23.5mm (this can be changed with washers to your needs).
1 – M8 Self Locking Nut
1 – Nema 17 Motor
2 – M4 Allen Bolt 54mm long
2 – M4 Hex Bolt
2 – M4 Washer (to hold pressure springs)
2 – Extruder Pressure Springs
1 – M3 shaft to hold idler. A m3 bolt with nut can be used. -
