iPhone X and Apple Watch Wireless Charging Stand 3D Print Model
Summary
Vertical charging stand I designed in Fusion 360 to fit the Mophie QI Wireless charger and the Apple watch charger. Shown in the picture is an iPhone X and an Apple Watch charging at the same time. The iPhone X is encased in a Spigen Ultra Hybrid Case. The Mophie QI charger should also work with the iPhone 8/8 Plus but I haven’t personally tested them with my stand.

Carbon Fiber Y-Axis tray Chain Anchor & Lock 3D Print Model
Summary
This is a cable chain anchor and mount for a cable chain that fits the Carbon Fiber Y-Axis tray. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071LTS8W8/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B071LTS8W8&linkCode=as2&tag=communityhost-20&linkId=bed5896d95b8d2ced89cca68414f32f9)
The CF tray zip tie slot is about 3mm further in than the stock aluminum tray zip-tie slot, so all of the cable chain anchors out there won’t work. Additionally, if you’ve installed the removable build plate by billyd (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1021403) and used the aluminum carriage upgrade (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0192K4N6K/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B0192K4N6K&linkCode=as2&tag=communityhost-20&linkId=1e61bce087154c48393fc54d8e997803), the aluminum carriage is too close to the CF tray to allow a standard mount in there anyway.
So this mount is inverted (screws on the bottom, instead of the top), and thinned enough to allow clearance for bed-leveling of the tray.
It’s pretty straightforward on install, just upside down from a normal anchor for a cable chain.

2006 volvo v50 no roof rail caps v3.3 3D Print Model
Summary
I searched everywhere for factory or third party made but none (or im searching at the wrong places) so instead i made my own and share with you. Please feel free to donate for my hard work.
This is cover/caps trim for the holes with snap on design after removal of the roof rails on the 2006 Volvo v50. May need additional “body” work like applying bondo, primer and paint to match the color of the car. A notch has been added for easier removal with a flathead screw driver.
Newer version is coming as i learn more on how to manipulate the 3D maker program.

Army Board Game 3D Print Model
Summary
The game is played with 36 pieces each on a 9×10 square board. Each piece has a numeric value, which is hidden from the opponent and only revealed when an attacking piece moves onto a square occupied by an opponent’s piece. In most cases, the piece with the highest value wins and the losing piece is removed from the board. -

Apple iPhone X dock for IKEA RÄLLEN wireless charger 3D Print Model
Summary
[ REMARK: PICTURES ARE BEFORE POST-PRODUCTION ]
I had picked up my iPhone X (I was 2nd in line on friday morning, yay!). I bought the IKEA RÄLLEN wireless charger for €14,95 as it was by far the cheapest, but for both next to my bed and on my desk I wanted to be able to put my iPhone up in a dock, instead of laying it flat on the charger. So, I figured, why not make one myself?
It has been designed to be stable and solid, but be rather quickly printable and save some material. I printed it both in PLA and wood (I love the look / feel / finish) and both turned out great. It has too been designed specifically so the charger is located in the center of the iPhone. That way, even with a case like my Apple silicone case on it, it has no problem connecting and charging. I didn’t think it would be a problem until the charger ended up being too low in the prototype, which on the other end should quite well work for the smaller iPhone 8 (I’ll upload that one later).
My next design will be a separate Apple Watch dock that can be connected to this one, forming a modular solution and leaving the choice for either one or a combined dock. Keep an eye on my designs for this one in a few days! Hope you guys

This is a standard desk caddy for organization with the classic internet comic “This is fine” extruded into the main face. No important instructions for it, other than it should be turned 90 degrees to face upright. Prints well at 0.2 mm layer height and even better at 0.1 mm layer height (pictured) as there is more detail in the comic.

Inkbird ITC-1000 Temperature controller case 3D Print Model
Summary
My mom’s prehistoric food dehydrator quit working due to the thermal fuse blowing. after replacing it twice I decided that the problem was more likely to be the thermostat sticking, and decided to replace it. Amazon search for PID ended up showing the Inkbird ITC-1000 ( which is not a PID, I didn’t realize that when i bought it)
I liked the 10A contact rating for the internal relay, so i got one and had to figure out how to mount the ‘PID’ controller.
I made this box and mounted it and the unit works great now. heats up faster then when i used my external PID (my real Pid controller)
The Box has cut outs at the back for surface mounting the box and cutting or drilling the holes for the wires into whatever you want to control. I used 1 3/4″ 6-32 screws to mount the box, after I used a drill to clean out the holes. I had to sand the mated edges of the box to get a snug fit, like a few thousands of clean up. I printed this in ABS with .2mm layers and 3 outlines and 3 top and bottom layers on my Flashforge creator pro.
As always I uploaded my Sketchup files in the event anyone wants to change the design easily. Please comment if you build. I like comments. -

Hypercube Evolution 3D Print Model
Summary
This mount allows you to use the Flexion Extruder with your Hypercube Evolution. It includes a Bltouch sensor mount as well.
The extruder mounts through the stepper motor. To do this remove the top two screws on the stepper motor and replace with 45mm M3 screw going through the top two holes.
The 40mm fan mounts on the front. You will need two spacers. I had two spare from my old duplicator but you could print some from (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1656609). Between the 40mm fan and the spacer is the radial fan mount. I hot glued the radial fan in just to be safe but it really did not need it.

FPV SMA Connector Thumb Wheel 3D Print Model
Summary
This printed part fits the 8mm SMA connector nut used on FPV gear. It slips over the nut portion making it easy to tighten/loosen the nuts without a wrench. I print one for each SMA connector and leave it in place. Using PLA the weight is just .25 gm.
There is a small and large version. The large has an outside diameter 1.5 mm larger then the small. I use the small for tight places such as a 45° or 90° fitting. I use the large where there is plenty of room to grasp and turn. You can get the nut slightly tighter with the large version.
Both versions have a .5mm slit to provide a little spring. This allows it to slide easily over the nut and allows for expansion and contraction from summer heat to winter cold. -

How I Designed This
All done in Fusion 360, the entire thing is driven by a single dimension in the first sketch, so it should be relatively easy to alter the print to whatever size you need. I just used the built in text tool in Fusion for the text, the “1/4” bit is just the unicode character. -

ShoreTrooper Helmet V2 (SeanKFields) Split to fit 200×200 build plate 3D Print Model
Summary
This is the V2 version of SeanKFields Shore Trooper helmet. All credit for this model goes to him I merely chopped the files to fit my bed. The original files (including the armour) can be downloaded directly from http://shoretrooper.co.uk
I have left the original sized pieces intact and added A and B options which are the bits I needed to split. The face will fit on the bed but I found it easier printing these split up and then gluing back together. I did put a registration tab on the rear rim but after printing a few of my chopped bits it wasn’t necessary so left the rest.
I’ve only managed to get the pieces printed so far and will update the images once I have put it together. I have done some test fits and all pieces line up with no issue.
Legal bit from the included text file (me being SeanKFields):
Usage Rights:
These files are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) viewable here.https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/
Basically, it says that if you intend to redistribute my work in any way, you must credit me as the original creator. This mostly pertains to anyone wanting to use the files commercially. If you’re using the files to print your own helmet, you don’t need to tag me every time you post a picture. You can, but it’s not a part of the agreement.
Speaking of commercial use: Anyone who chooses to do so has my permission to create and sell helmets based on these files. As before, I ask that you not sell the 3D files themselves, but printing and selling a helmet, or selling a helmet cast from a mold made from a printed masters is perfectly acceptable.
As before, there are a few rules. Some of these are new.If you intend to create and sell a product based on these files (printed kit, resin casting, etc.), I ask that you send me a sample of said products. Consider this the licensing fee. I ask this for 2 reasons:
a. It serves as a means for me to identify every vendor using the files.
b. It gives me an opportunity to inspect overall product quality. If you profit from my work, I highly encourage you to take a portion of that profit and do something good in the world with it. Donate to charity. Buy a homeless guy a sandwich. Adopt a shelter dog. It doesn’t matter what it is. Follow your heart.
While I certainly do not require it, I will gladly and graciously accept tips this time. My Paypal address is [email protected]

Cura Lift Head at Z for PETG Print Gap Plugin 3D Print Model
Summary
Well, they say that PETG likes to “lay down” and not be “smooshed down” like other filaments. After the first layer, you should raise the print head slightly so there’s a gap between the nozzle and the printed piece. This plugin will let you do it in cura.
How to use it: Put it in your <cura 3x>/plugins/PostProcessingPlugin/scripts directory. You will need to restart Cura. Go to the Extensions menu, then Post-Processing and Modify G Code. You will be able to select the plugin there.
The height should be set to greater than your first layer height but less than your second.
Code was altered from BQ_PauseAtHeight.py plugin.
Thingiverse requires an STL or design file to submit something, so I uploaded a test shape I use to test new filaments. Enjoy! -

Bristol F.2B – First World War Airplane / Avion de la Première Guerre mondiale 3D Print Model
Summary
(Le français suit l’anglais)
The U.K. designed Bristol Fighter was the most successful two-seat combat aircraft of the First World War. It was initially designed as a reconnaissance machine, the Bristol Fighter’s robust design, powerful engine, good manoeuvrability and relatively heavy armament enabled it to excel as a fighter aircraft.
The Bristol F.2B found at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum was built in 1918. It was restored by Historic Aircraft Collection in the U.K. from the early 1980s to 2006. In 2006, it flew in several aerial displays in Britain. The Museum then acquired the fighter through an aircraft trade later that year.
For more information about the Bristol F.2B please visit:https://ingeniumcanada.org/aviation/collection-research/artifact-bristol-f2b-fighter.php

A.E.G. G.IV – First World War Airplane / Avion de la Première Guerre mondiale 3D Print Model
Summary
(Le français suit l’anglais)
The Allgemeine Elektrizitäts Gesellschaft (A.E.G.) G.IV bomber went into general
use with the German Air Force in 1917. Because of its relatively short range,
the G.IV served mainly as a tactical bomber, and operated close to the front lines.
The G.IV flew both day and night operations, but, as the war progressed, was
restricted increasingly to night missions. A.E.G. units operated in France,
Romania, Greece, and Italy.
The A.E.G. G.IV found at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum was transported to Canada in 1919 as a war trophy and has remained in the country ever since. It is the only
surviving multi-engine German aircraft from the First World War and it is the only surviving aircraft from this period covered in the unique German “night lozenge” camouflage pattern.
For more information about the A.E.G. G.IV please visit:https://ingeniumcanada.org/aviation/collection-research/artifact-aeg-giv.php

L’A.E.G. G.IV a servi à réaliser des opérations de jour et de nuit, mais, avec le temps, on l’a de plus en plus réservé aux missions nocturnes. Il a été utilisé en France, en Roumanie, en Grèce et en Italie.

Demogorgon 3D Print Model
Summary
This is a bust of the Demogorgon from “Stranger Things” that I made using Oculus Medium and TinkerCad. I have nothing to do with any of these companies.
It prints well without supports, minus a little stringing between the teeth because they’re small, but you can leave them to make it look like slime/saliva dripping off the teeth!

Monoprice Maker Select V2.1 Hot Bed Cable Bracket 3D Print Model
Summary
This is a bracket to help keep the hot bed wires from bending and hitting the build plate. It also keeps the wires low and away from a rear mounted part cooler when the extruder is near the rear of the build plate. The bracket is designed to work with the RepRap Champion Y Carriage Plate Upgrade for the Monoprice Maker Select / Wanhao Duplicator i3.
To install:
Place the bracket between the Y-carriage plate and the hot bed with the clips pointing down, near the hot bed wires. Hook the clip on the outside of the Y-carriage plate and slowly lift the end until the other clip clicks into place inside the Y-carriage plate cutout. It’s a tight fit so some trimming may be needed. Once the bracket is in place, lay the hot bed wires on top of it and use a small zip tie and the provide holes to secure them in place. Make sure the eyelet of the zip tie is on the upper side of the bracket to keep it from hitting the frame.

Amiibo Stand System – With Connectors 3D Print Model
Summary
Amiibo were taking over the house, so I decided to do something about it!
First, I made a beautiful stand:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2613221
Which was based on a fantastic guide:
https://imgur.com/gallery/P68cT
I went to print it out, and it was hilariously larger than the maximum size of my FFCP 2016.
So then, I did what any engineer would do: I sketched out a modular system!
Originally, as a test, I made a no-connector (connectorless?) system, that you could use to make your own base, using glue or tape to stick things together:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2625743
That was cool, and it allowed me to test the blocks/modules to make sure they’d print right, look good, and hold Amiibo properly. I’m sure some folks will be happy with the connector-free modules, and will simply use super glue or tape to hold things together.
Me, I knew I wanted something with connectors. I like curves, but I realized that circles are fully symmetrical, and would allow rotation. These should go together perfectly at right angles, 180°, so I decided on a two-way keying system (because one-way is annoying) in the oval. You can connect these right-side-up or upside-down, but that’s about it. If you wanted something a little more fool-proof, I could probably do a system that had a softened (curved point) triangle, which would allow for only one real way (the other ways would not be at 90° angles). I could even put in an asymmetrical hole but, honestly, that’s just getting too confusing. Plus, these modules are symmetrical, so you can rotate them, and use them however.
There are six different types of modules, in three different heights.
The types of modules are: no holes, one hole, two corner holes, two opposite holes, three holes and four holes. Obviously, the “no holes” won’t connect to anything unless you’re willing to use glue, tape, or for something stand-alone. I promise I won’t judge you! Obviously, the other five modules are for connecting with the provided “rods.” The “tight rod” feels like a porn star name. It’s not. Printed at Medium (0.2mm) layer height, it’s a snug fit. You may have to clean up the end(s) a little bit, but in mine, I just had to give a little pressure and the rod slid into the hole no problem. If one side is tighter, press that side in manually first, and then slide the other module into the looser rod end. That should make things easier.
I was playing with a “max” sized height (maximum Z height of the FFCP 2016 edition), but realized most folks are going to want to start out with the low, medium and high designed here. I used the Fibonacci sequence (Golden Ratio), to design the heights, widths and lengths. I enjoy good design, and hope you find these visually appealing.
I will share my sketch later, so you can see how I originally intended for this to be used. It’s a free-form sketch, so don’t judge me or my artistic ability!
If you make one of these, please share a Make here. I love to see what people do with my Things. Seriously!
If you have a suggestion, comment or question, please leave a comment somewhere on this Thing. I try to take suggestions and make them a reality. One of the ideas I had originally was to make a two-by on the top, so you could have a larger margin/area to display some of the “fatter” Amiibo, while still looking good. I may share/print the “max” size items, but we’ll see how I feel. I think the three-tier system works fairly well, but at some point, when you get out to eight or nine wide, a fourth layer might make it look better than just the three. We’ll see.
< soapbox > As an aside, my brother took his life last week, and this is a way for me to keep busy before the funeral. I like to celebrate and enjoy life. If you aren’t enjoying what you’re doing, do something else. If you’re depressed, seek counseling. Suicide is never the answer. It leaves behind a metaphorical and physical mess that someone else has to clean up. Selfish and shitty. If you can’t stick around for yourself, stick around for friends, family, your pets, the nice cashier at the grocery store who always smiles at you, the waitstaff at your local restaurant, the police who will have to investigate the scene, and the coroner who will have to take you apart. Suicide sets in motion a huge series of events that you won’t have to be around to deal with. But none of those events are fun. Talk to someone. There are always options. < /soapbox > -

Post-Printing
After printing I colored the pieces with sharpie to add some contrast.
How I Designed This
I had first sketched it out on grid paper. Then I modeled the pieces in Fusion 360. -

remix of MrCrankyface by Flyon20s axles middle axles with servo mounts 3D Print Model
Summary
I wanted to build an 8×8 Hemmt. I am new to 3d design so I didn’t want to get into designing gears so I found the mid axles and adapted them for leaf springs and made them longer because my vehicle is wide. I did not have room to put my servos on the frame so I added a mounting plate on the tops. they need tweaking because my turning radius is horrible. I was going to wait till got it working perfect. I will be posting the Hemmt frame and body soon.

Thor Ragnarok Swords 3D Print Model
Summary
Woo!
One day late, BUT, they’re finally finished! Both swords, screen accurate (as far as I can tell) and fully printable. As with all my swords, they take a metal support rod, 3/16″, that is slotted down the middle. A real passion project of mine. I hope you all enjoy!
Please print and show me if you love it and are faster than me, my printers are kind of slow and old.
Please leave a like and follow me if you want to see more cool stuff like this.
I will also soon be streaming on twitch.tv/polygonaut
Cheers! -

Case for ELECROW 5 inch LCD RPA050105 3D Print Model
Summary
This case is for Elecrow’s (waveshare) 5 inch lcd screen. This is part of a project to create modular components for a portable handheld gaming system. This way novices can assemble any models they want to use and essentially “snap” them together to quickly prototype. The Fusion 360 project file with all the sketches step by step instructions for creating the model (so that you can easily modify it). This is released under the public domain license so you can use it for reference, modify, or incorporate it into your project and sell it.

I bought mine on Aliexpress, but here’s an amazon link to the screen.https://www.amazon.com/Elecrow-RPA05010R-800×480-Display-Raspberry/dp/B013JECYF2 -

ADT Night Alarm Cover 3D Print Model
Summary
The alarm panel in the bedroom is really bright at night and I always end up covering it with an item of clothing. So I decided to make a better fix for this problem. The cover is for an ADT alarm screen and only covers the screen so the buttons are still usable. The design is made to wedge in the sides as there is no top lip above the screen to latch too.
Hope this makes your room darker like mine and you get a better night sleep. 🙂
The print on high quality took 25 mins.
