Summary
I really love the high clearance fang mod made by Tacblades.
I really didn’t like the high pitched whine that my OEM blower fan made though and that’s what lead me to remix this.
This is exactly the same as the original, only this accepts a standard 5015 blower fan instead of the OEM fan in the original.

Coffee Grinder Automation 3D Print Model
Summary
So I bought a coffee grinder and discovered I’m far too lazy to grind my coffee by hand… but the coffee is AMAZING when ground by hand…
So… I bought a servo… and modified it to spin forever… (I centered the pot, then cut the nob off it… and ground the gear stop off the gear…)
And I printed a thing… and I used a cheap servo tester to drive this, I suppose if I got fancy I’d program an Arduino Nano to generate the PWM signal I want for a specific amount of time necessary to grind my coffee…
I power it with a USB wall charger… I tested it off a powered USB hub and it seemed fine, but I’d be concerned about amp draw.
M3x26 bolts to hold it on the coffee grinder, M3x8 bolts to hold the servo in… you’ll need an M3 tap.

AFTERGLOW PS4 headset strap FIX 3D Print Model
Summary
link to the fix post on my IG (https://www.instagram.com/p/BUeXSMAjafw/?hl=en&taken-by=codename.ide) This is one of those i cant believe it worked prints…i was an amateur…we learn every day! Non the less it will print with supports and when installing on headset keep in mind that you will have to cut headset plastic by the screws to release the wire from the strap….no need to add the metal support strap the headset comes with…the print is very sturdy and retains its shape with enough flexibility to give you a comfortable fit but strong enough to maintain its position on the users head.

How I Designed This
i BASICALLY measured the straps position from a to b at the base of the straps standing up on both ends then i went with how high the arch went and designed from those parameters with a digital caliper that measures measuring to the tenth of a mm and from edge to edge, measuring heights of holes and angles and how far somthing is from edges…got prety close by first printing a corner of the hole area were screws go into and made sure the size and angles were on point, made proper tweaks, reprint a sample and went with it….it works, chek link… im happy… -

DxCommander Guy Ring 3D Print Model
Summary
Having taken our DxCommander out in a bit of a wind a couple of things happened. When it blows about the SWR goes all haywire and under very testing conditions with the bottom guys only it can, and did snap on the bottom section. (easily mended with some cable clips)
So this ring sets out to add another spreader with some guy points
It has been testing over the weekend and looks as if it is going to do the trick.
You will need to fettle the hole so it sits on your mast where you want it.

MPCNC Universal Holder for Brother Vinyl Cutter 3D Print Model

This is a model made for HicWic’s Universal Mount for the MPCNC. I used his base Mini Mount and modified it until it would hold my Brother Vinyl cutter to my liking. It is very stable and will not budge when fully inserted. I have no tried to cut Vinyl with it yet, but I imagine that any failure would be due to something other than this part.

Shipping Container Extra Vents 3D Print Model
Summary
I made this part a few months ago for my shipping container to help dissipate the heat from the blaring sun. it turned out working out really good. They don’t take long to print.
I cut a hole with a 1 inch pipe conduit connector size (electrical one inch size connector)
Put silicone on the base
pushed it in
cut a screen to cover the back to prevent skeeters and black flies from entering
and it worked out perfect, air flows nicely and water stays out.
With the rains we’ve been getting lately, I haven’t seen any traces of water. -

Tronxy X3 or X3A Y-Stabilizer 3D Print Model
Summary
Just another remix! I kinda feel like a model DJ… Hahaha
Anyways I wanted to use the original but the bolt heads that came with my bed and from the local hardware store where all to large to fit in the recess, fortunately the nuts for the bed are smaller than most “Chinese” I guess. So now you can use large heads on this thingi but flipping them around. Hope its useful. 🙂 -

Toothed Clip/Clamp 3D Print Model
Summary
I made this clip to hold coiled exercise bands so that they wouldn’t flop around. However, it can be used for anything that would benefit from being compressed together like extension cords, audio cables, etc. One could modify it to have a bigger arm radius or be longer/short depending on your needs. I’d also considered putting a loop on one side so that it could be hung on a wall or work station.

DW660 Quick Release Dust Shoe with ring for attaching skirt 3D Print Model
Summary
This is a simple remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:410266 which is in turn a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:231219, a dust shoe for the DeWalt 660.
I found it necessary for our applications on our home brew router to have a skirt. This mix adds a ring in the appropriate place to zip tie a skirt to the dust shoe. It also removes some of the interior plastic that kept causing jams with larger wood chips. I am using 3/16″ thick rubber though vinyl or other materials would work just as well.
This is probably obvious, but print this upright. I realize it’s on its side. That was a side effect of importing it for me.
Good support settings are an absolute necessity on this one due to it having to reach up into the part to support the upper area.
I printed this at low resolution and fast speed. For me this helps with bridging which is handy for the cavity that the pin must travel through. Support doesn’t really work there.

As a warning: the bottom under the Switch cart opening is fairly thin at 0.5mm.

Gadget Wall Mount 3mm Remix 3D Print Model
Summary
Original Credit to PrintTo3D’s Gadget Wall Mount found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4738
I did printed off his original thing but it ended up breaking on me due to the holes being to small for the screws I was using while I was trying to drill them out to make them bigger. I also created bigger openings on the bottom so I could fit my usb-c charger to my phone while it sat in the holder.
Remixed to make the holes a little bigger to 3mm, dropped the holes down a little bit from the top for more stability, and I ended up cutting off the diagonal front in case someone wants it and doesn’t have a long screwdriver, as it accomodates shorter fatter ones vs precision screw drivers.

Created by extruding the SVG generated by a trace bitmap function of inkscape on the original logo. The extrusion is 2mm but the X-Y size is a bit large so make sure it fits your print bed before slicing. -

The Genius Garnet 3D Print Model
Summary

Aim Controller Hanger 3D Print Model
Summary
I created this to hang my Playstation VR Aim Controller from a cabinet door. Most existing models available are for a horizontal position, which wouldn’t fit my door. This will allow the controller to hang from the bottom rear corner without strain.
There is a hole for a screw, but I just hung mine with 3M command strips.
This can be printed as is, without supports.

Zumspot Case for Raspberrypi 2 &3 3D Print Model
Summary
This fits on top of this excellent case from Esquilo.
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1637227
I tried to integrate it with the top case but my printer couldn’t handle it, so it’s just a simple design that fits on top of the case for a raspberrypi 2 or 3 if anybody needs such a thing.

Couch Sofa Release Lever Slip-on Replacement Fix 3D Print Model
Summary
The release lever for my couch snapped-off, so I designed this fix for it. Since a “stub” of the original lever still remained, I designed this thing to slip on over the remaining stub. Printed in black PLA to match the couch, though I realize this makes it a bit hard to see in the photos.
The first photo shows the printed part attached to the couch. The second shows the “stub” that the printed part fits over. The third is a reference photo of a still-intact release lever. The fourth is just the part by itself.

replacement sterilite container clip 3D Print Model
Summary
I buy lots of these sterilite containers. I imagine a lot of 3D printing hobbyists do. Frequent usage means the clips eventually break. Instead of having to spend another $5 – $12 dollars and throw away a perfectly good container, I drafted a replacement clip.
I know it’s lame, but I use a lot of them and it is wasteful to have to purchase again. The attached image is the container where I keep my coffee. Of course that’s going to break first, using it everyday for over 2 years.
