A ruler designed to mark the filament at 15 cm before feeding and reading off the actual length fed afterwards.
The filament snaps into the bottom and top of the ruler and fits into the grove to make reading off the length easier.
The length of the ruler is 15 cm with a ledge at the top that can be used as a guide for a sharp razor mark or marker line.
The markings on the ruler are in mm of actual fed filament to be read off where the mark lines up after feeding 10 cm of filament through the extruder.

How I Designed This
After realizing that the extruder feed accuracy needs to be tested for new filaments I decided to make a ruler designed for the task that allows easy marking and measuring of the extruder filament feed length and does not require three hands to hold the filament in place.
I am new to 3D printing and find Fusion 360 to be the easiest to use when taking an idea to a working model.
I use parameterized dimensions to allow easy tweaking and reducing the model size for faster test prints.
Custom Section
Marking 15 cm before filament feed
Snap the filament into the top and bottom clamps of the ruler and press into the grove along the scale.
With the bottom of the ruler resting on the extruder intake mark off 15 cm using the top of the ruler as a guide. Only the bottom of the mark is relevant so don’t worry about how thin it is.
Reading actual feed length
After feeding 10 cm of the filament with:
G92 E0; reset extruder origin
G1 E100 F120; feed 10 cm of filament at 120 mm/min (adjust this to your usual feed rate
G92 E0; reset extruder origin
Read off the actual length from the bottom of the mark aligning with scale printed on the ruler. Numbers are in mm of actual feed. In the image, I adjusted my extruder steps/mm to compensate for always underfeeding by 5mm on 100mm feed so it is showing 100mm.

A simple direct-contact water block, with 1/4″ hose barbs, originally designed for “60w” thermoelectric coolers.
This device puts the water in direct contact with the object to be cooled, so don’t use it for CPUs or really anything valuable.
Requires a seal – I designed the gland to fit a 218 silicone O-ring (McMaster-Carr #1283N91); it seals really well that way. However, you could just cut a seal out of neoprene or something, or use gasket maker to seal it up.

This adapter uses a new screw mechanism compared to the old one from my other design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2477689). It’s an inverse of Canon’s DSLR lens attaching mechanism. After multiple failed attempts of making a proper thread with my rotary tool (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2490290), out of impatience, I decided to try a screw-on piece that didn’t require a high resolution for faster prototyping. This new design only requires 1/3 of a turn to fit on, making it very easy to swap out with other lenses if needed.

This case is specific for the galaxy s7 edge.
Depending on the popularity of this, I may make a proper universal adapter using the screw design and adapter pieces for common binoculars.

The VTX mounting scheme is designed around an FT958
The HD cam mount is 36mm wide, so should be great for Foxeer 1/2, Runcam 2, Mobius, YMMV with box style cams.

I designed this case to hold my spare nozzles for my Prusa i3. The case is printed in one piece with functional hinge and clip to keep the case closed when not in use. For those into a more retro feel, here is one of the two original Gorgon designs. Put onto a modified Chimera chassis because, eh, close enough to the reference pictures I found. Suitable for a general-purpose armoured bulldozer.
The rotatable turret file has the barrel at a 5 degree angle and lengthened barrel to allow the turret to swivel 360 degrees.

When you need salvation from a slightly-too-small inside diameter, look for a pi-pilot! (Pipe-pilot. Get it? Anyone?)
This is a guide to keep a spade bit from wandering and chattering while reaming a PVC pipe or fitting (or other soft material with an existing hole) to a larger size.
The included STL files may or may not work for you without adjustment. Your best bet would be to edit the .scad file and generate your own. If you need to fit something other than a 7/8-inch bit, you have no choice at the moment.

You would be well-advised to take exact measurements of the spade bit you intend to use, as they vary in dimensions between manufacturers.
I was able to print this without supports so required cleanup was minimal. I did have to do some sanding due to poor printer calibration.
I included a “slop factor” of 1.25 since my Prusa i3 is long overdue for recalibration. If your printer is spot-on, you might be able to set the slop_factor value to 1.
Post-Printing
Assembly is straightforward: Insert the bit into the guide body; snap the pilot section over the top, and start reaming!
When using this I found that a brand-new spade bit still tends to “grab” a bit, so be prepared for it. You might even try running the drill in reverse, although I have not. Drilling generates heat, and the PVC pipe will tend to soften. Lubricating with water while in use may be helpful though messy. The “results” photo is with an earlier iteration, but the principal is the same.

I made this from a simple sphere on VECTARY. It was suppose to just be a simple alien, sci-fi spaceship. But everyone I show it too say it looks like the head or a helmet. While that was unexpected it does give a funny impression that the aliens are driving around in a giant head or helmet. I can see aliens stepping out of the ship with the same looking head.

I did print this without any infill, however I did not enable any special mode such as a vase mode. I just changed the infill to zero.

Call me paranoid, after the connect melt on the Melzi board, I order 2 mosfet for both hotbed and extruder figured they both heat up, if hotbed connect can fail, so do extruder.

Printed at 100 microns in order to make it as smooth as possible. Printed at 25 microns on a resin printer might be best. Also haven’t tried it yet but printing in ABS and then Acetone Vapor smoothing could possibly match a resin print.

How I Designed This

This is a horse stable with a functional swinging gate. The completed stable consists of seven pieces. You need to print two roofs and two sides, the back, the support for the gate, the gate and the detailed wooden floor. The gate is tight in the support to allow easy movement, but it is tight enough to remain where you place it. You may need to clean the holes out of the gate support depending on the accuracy of your printer. It is purposely made a little tight.
Only the gate needs to be printed with supports. You superglue all the parts together to finish the project. The floor has very detailed wood slats that could also be used for other building or just for a tile as well. Textured roof as well as detailed in the wood sides and back.

There are plenty of sketches online to make your own MTB mudguard. But why go to all the trouble of tracing, cutting, and punching holes?
This model is designed to be printed at 0.28mm (or 0.3mm) and is exactly 3 layers thick which provides strength while still remaining flexible.
There are versions with and without the Specialized logo. I recommend color changes for the last logo layer.

This is a “chamber of secret” door’s lock. I designed it to match the snake door handle I had already printed.
I bought a lock door system from the store, painted the button and removed the metal ring to replace it with this customized one.

How I Designed This
Wanted to match the real Chamber of Secret logo, but on such a small device, it wasn’t really nice. So I made a simplified version but still efficient 🙂

Another K40 Laser Cutter exhaust adapter for 3″ hose. In this case designed to be minimal. A one piece version and a two piece version is available. If you are printing on a 3D Printer with a small build area the split version may be better. The yellow one in the picture was printed on an UP! Mini at 100% infill. I cutout a gasket to put behind it on my machine to help with the seal. Also provided is the Rhino 3DM files to make it a little easier if someone else wants to make improvements.

PLEASE NOTICE: I designed for my LCD TV, which widht is 1,5cm.
But you can rescale it for any LCD TV: just measure your TV width, and change scale for the Z AXIS accordingly.
But only rescale the Z axis, don’t mess with the others! If you do a uniform scale, the Rift sensors won’t fit anymore…
