Game Tile with Letter 3D Print Model
Summary
This is intended to make custom/replacement tiles for games like Bananagrams.
If you want a full set of the game you should buy it, to avoid piracy.
You can adjust the letter and lettersize variables to make your desired tiles, or all of them if a different sized tile is desired.
I painted the groves to increase contrast. -

Throwing Ring 3D Print Model
Summary
You can scale it to any size you wish, it works well with abs and other more flexible plastics. It should glide very well and straight much better then a Frisbee.
Quick tip when printing with abs try using white wood glue for outdoor use on the glass bed, an awesome bed adhesion in my opinion. Sticks well when hot and the part pops off when cool and its is a durable surface too so it lasts long.

eBike Water bottle 18650 case 3D Print Model
Summary
This is a WORK IN PROGRESS. I still plan to make a full cover, the retainers are just temporary.
One of the pieces for an eBike project I’m making at my shop with things I’ve scavenged. It holds 8x 18650 cells. I run them in 4x banks on each side (2up and 2 down) and bridge together on the top. It puts out just above 15v which is perfect for my motor.
MAKE SURE TO ALIGN THEM MIRRORED on each side, I will not be held responsible if you wire it incorrectly.
I also just used IO shields that I cut down for terminals, proper terminal material would be better, but it works for my testing needs. If you have material that will fit inside of a spade connector, that would be ideal.
The spacing for the water bottle holder screws on my bike is 67mm, if yours is the same, it should mount right up. I made the holes a little small so I could drill it out to have a clean edge to thread into and adjust for screw head size, so keep that in mind. -

Multicolor Gravity Falls Bill Cipher 3D Print Model
Summary
I decided to remix @Jason_Blake ‘s Gravity Falls Bill Cipher to get better resolution on the hands (for my printer and object print size) as well as be able to use different colors at various layer heights. I removed the outer ring of text as well.
I used TinkerCAD to remix the original design and then used the Variable Settings Wizard Tool in Simplify3D to split the layers where I wanted to change the filament colors.
My settings in Simplify3D were:
Change Scaling (uniform scaling)
X 100 mm (174.95%)
Y 100 mm (174.95%)
Z 5.24 (174.95%)
Various Layers
First layer, blue, stop at 1.30mm height
Second layer, yellow, start at 1.30mm, stop at 3.00mm

SLAMTech RPLidar 360 (A1) Case 3D Print Model
Summary
A case for SLAMTech’s RPLidar 360 (A1) that protects the lidar and has room for a raspberry pi zero w. Surprisingly the pi zero w has enough horsepower to process up to 10hz from the lidar while also running hector_slam, telemetry, and a geotiff node. Basically with this case and a pi zero w you can have a self-contained lidar navigation system.

Jumbo Glue Stick Holder for Ultimate Modular Tool Holder Rack 3D Print Model
Summary
This is a remix of the glue stick holder from the Ultimate Modular 3D Printer Tool Holder Rack by Lay3rWorks. This part will hold a larger size glue stick up to about 28mm.
The two pieces fit together very snug, I have been using mine without any glue so far but will probably glue it together eventually. I found the easiest way to get the two parts together is to put the two open ends in place and then press up slightly on the rounded backside to get it into place.
I’ve posted the 123DX file as well as the STL so feel free to modify it as needed. This is the first thing I’ve ever remixed and posted so let me know if it needs more work.

Pin-Tumbler Lock from MechanicalGIFs.com 3D Print Model
Summary
This is an acrylic model of a pin-tumbler lock, the most common kind of key lock, made from laser-cut acrylic. It should be possible to make using an ordinary desktop laser cutter able to cut 1/8″ (3mm) acrylic. Photos and videos can be seen at http://mechanicalgifs.comOverview and Background
Instructions
This is a laser-cutter project, which will require a supply of acrylic sheet and a laser cutter able to cut at least 1/8″ (3mm) acrylic. The model can be made entirely of plain clear acrylic, or the pins, key, or other parts can optionally be made of colored acrylic.
The file PinTumblerLock.dxf contains all the cutting and engraving patterns in separate layers. Lines in yellow are meant to be engraved, all other colors of line should be cut. Use the speed and power settings appropriate for your laser cutter: every one is different.
There are three layers in the DXF file:
A1 should be cut in 1/16″ (1.6mm) acrylic
A3 should be cut in 1/8″ (3mm) acrylic
G should be cut in 0.020 PETG or similar film.
The thicknesses can be changed if you like, just adjust the length of the screws that hold the model together to match the total thickness of the material you choose to use. The key and barrel part must add up the nearly the same thickness as the body of the lock (e.g. 1/16 + 1/16 = 1/8 as specified). The PETG film can be anything you like that is about 0.5mm thick. Its purpose is to provide a bit of space so the moving parts can slide freely. Only the A1 layer must be clear: all the other parts could be opaque if you like. (The model is particularly attractive if you make the upper and lower pins out of differently-colored plastic.)
A detailed assembly video showing exactly how to put the model together is available at https://mechanicalgifs.com/instructions
Lesson Plan and Activity
Lock Lesson
Locks are by their nature secret, but this one lets you see inside to understand exactly how the key serves to communicate a secret code to the pins of the lock, allowing it to open.
Materials Needed
Materials needed
(1) Approximately 8″ x 8″ (200mm x 200mm) piece of 1/16″ (1.6mm) clear acrylic.
(1) Approximately 4″ x 4″ (100mm x 100mm) piece of 1/8″ (3mm) clear acrylic.
(1) Approximately 4″ x 4″ (100mm x 100mm) piece of 0.020 PETG or similar film material. (Exact thickness is not important, it is used as a spacer to allow the moving parts to slide freely.)
(2) Optionally, approximately 1″ x 2″ (25mm x 50mm) pieces of 1/8″ (3mm) colored translucent or opaque acrylic.
(5) 1/8″ (3mm) x 1″ (25mm) very light spring.
(6) #2 x 5/16″ round-head machine screw (or metric M2 x 8)
(6) #2 hex nuts (M2) -

Mini Toy Tank Track 3D Print Model
Summary
So my 3yo son asked me to fix his toy tank tire track.
I didn’t have any TPU on hand but decided to test it out with PLA first before my TPU filament comes.
I printed a different design at first but realised it can’t work as the tracks cannot be properly drawn around the sides so this circle design is a better one. TPU is flexible so we should be able to bend it around the longish shape of the tank tracks!
How I Designed This
Fushion 360
I used Fushion 360.
Initially I thought of drawing like an rectangles with two semi-circles at the two ends but realised that it cannot be printed properly. Then I realised that using TPU, a circle will be a better shape since it is flexible.
So I drew a circle, extruded it into a “rubber band”.
Then created a plane on the tangent and dew one of the tyre outline, extruded it, then created a pattern around the extruded circle. -

KICKSTARTER ALERT!
We’re currently running a Kickstarter campaign for our Townsfolke fantasy civilian miniatures, so swing by and drop us a pledge if you want the full range. For those of you supporting us (or thinking about supporting us) on Patreon, all the rewards will go to our backers there as well (as we do with all our crowdfunding campaigns).
This is something for which we’ve received a lot of requests over the years, so we’re excited to finally be getting around to it. All of the models print without the need of supports and are FDM optimized (though they’ll work just fine on a resin machine too). We’re launching with 16 available miniatures, with 12 more ready to be unlocked as stretch goals (and more to come).

The M.A.S.S. Device (GI Joe) 3D Print Model
Summary
The M.A.S.S. Device was the plot focus of the Sunbow GI Joe cartoon of 1983. There was a toy released for this but I decided to base this model off of two cartoon images I found online…it looked more impressive. But because of this the model is quite large, roughly 16″ x 10″ and fits in with the rest of the toys in this line. As with the rest of the files I’ve created this model is intended to be printed at 25%. Printing larger or smaller you may have too much or too little detail.
My painted print in the pictures is roughly 4″ x 3.5″ x 4″ tall.
This file is free to download. Please note that it is listed as “non-commercial”. Neither you nor I are allowed to buy or sell physical copies of this 3-D model. You are allowed (and encouraged) to print copies for your own personal use. If you have downloaded this file from a source other than my site on thingiverse.com they have done so without my permission. Thank you for respecting me and the rights of the original copyright holder.
As always, much respect and gratitude to past and present members of our Armed Forces, you are the “Real American Heroes”. Your sacrifice allows people like me to live in peace, freedom and make silly little toys like these.
Tips:
All of these files can be printed without supports. The console_generator is printed with the base down. The beam emitter, element containers (you need 3), and the crystal are all printed pointed up. -

I will have a matching enclosure foe the control board once it has been test printed … I have not printed this item yet But I’m sure it will work. the lid should be able to be help on by 2 m3 bolts one from each side. -

Carcassonne Traders and Builders Expansion Tiles 3D Print Model
Summary
Remixed using Solidworks.
These are the extra tiles needed for the Traders and Builders expansion for Carcassonne. (Some of the T&B tiles are identical to those in the base game so they aren’t included in this Thing).
I left out the ribbon/barrel/wheat symbols on the tiles because I think that rule is lame…
If you want to play with that rule, I’d recommend adding simple shapes to the tiles in Tinkercad to represent the symbols.
Print Settings
Notes:
I printed at 85%, this way the game doesn’t spill over every table we play on 🙂
The OG meeples will work with this size but it’s a little tight, I chose to print smaller meeples that make playing easier.

Magnetic Shoelaces 3D Print Model
Summary
I made these because I don’t lie tieing my shoes in the morning if anything I leave them tied and slip in and out of them. These are designed with a curve so they lay nicely against your foot. I print them at 50% infill for strength and at the medium quality setting for me that is 0.20 layer hight. I use three magnets on each side for max strength that is a total of six per foot and 12 total. As far as I know, these do not set off metal detectors, I have gone through one wearing them and it did not set it off.
I use 10x5mm Neodymium Magnet you can get 100 for $26.99 on eBay shipped from inside the US. -

Iphone 6/6s Flexible phone case – Superman 3D Print Model
Summary
Remix of my remix of the phone case by Snickerpleez. This is a very protective phone case designed to be printed in flexible filament. It turned out great. Fits very nice and looks great. I printed it with .8mm borders and 20% infill. Supports are required for some of the overhangs, but not much was needed.

Peg Board Tool holder 3D Print Model
Summary
I made these to hold all manner of things on my pegboards, from paint brushes to razor blades. The hexagon pattern is the cut down on material costs and it just looks cool. The ones in the photos were printed at low quality but high infill for strength. They fit very securely on the pegboard, it takes a little force to get them on but they are solid once they are. -

Bennett Linkage 3D Print Model
Summary
This is my first iteration of a 3d printable model of the bennet linkage.
The Bennet linkage is an overconstrained mechanism, which consists of four links connected by four revolute joints.
My objetive is to make a pre assebled 3d printable model for generating complex deployable structures. I´m with too much projects so i encorage you to take this as starting point to explore this interesting theme. I uploaded an igs version of the files for easy modifications.

Batgirl Mask 3D Print Model
Summary
A modified version of the Batman Justice League 3000 mask made for a costume party. It fitted my male friend alright. The model has been split into separate pieces for easier printing and less need for support. There is a small weird thing in the edge of the eyes, but not noticeable when printed.

Field Stone Wall Tiles with Openlock 3D Print Model
Summary
Many miniature 2×2 inch stone walls surrounding lettuce and unplanted field. Different corners and side stone walls to handle whatever orientation is wanted for the fields. Includes a corner and straight stone wall that can just be placed on existing tiles as well with no bases. Has one tile with a wooden gate and another that has fallen creating an opening.
There are two sets of tiles for every design. One design is compatible with the openlock system and the clips can be found for free. The second set is also 2×2 inches in size with 3mm bases and can be placed on bases with similar dimensions. I call these top caps.
Free clips are in the link provided below.https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2343306
The original fields with no walls can be found here and matches perfectly the walled field tiles provided.https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2846214

Monitor headphone hook Remix 3D Print Model
Summary
I had to make the hook a little bit wider to fit my headphones, so I remade the model following the original one with this little alteration; I also added an extra part at the bottom, a kind of rib to make everything stronger. I used PLA, printed with small supports for the rounded part.
It actually works and is greatly useful. Thanks for sharing!

Anti-Jamming-Rattling-Plate for Djin from KS 3D Print Model
Summary
Hi there!
I have enjoyed Djin wallet without this plate.
However, as other people said, I also had a little on my mind about coin-jamming and rattling.
So I desinged this plate.
Please note that I strongly recommend to print this with soft material like rubber not ABS or PLA.
If you choose such hard material, you need to apply soft cloth or sometning with both-side-tape to absorb rattling sound.
Hope this will make your experience greater.

Kindle Fire HD 10 Wall Mount 3D Print Model
Summary
Wall mount for the Kindle Fire HD 10. Ideal for you ActionTiles fans!
Three versions are available. 45° corners, square corners and round corners. 45° is my favourite. Round corners will not print well vertically.
Prints in two sections, a left and a right to allow the Kindle Fire to slide in and be bolted together, it then hangs on screws in the wall. 5mm back thickness helps get a regular USB power cable to the Kindle, either from a wall outlet behind or from trunking from above or below.
Top and bottom “cutouts” are provided if you wish to use mini-trunking to bring the USB power cable to the Kindle Fire. Otherwise these can be left in place (If you prefer a cleaner cutout for trunking modify includeTrunkingCutout in the OpenScad file).
Print vertically (see screen shots). You can print horizontally but it adds a lot of supports and is prone to warping. The one in the photos was printed horizontally (to test the supports) so it’s possible, but you can see it warped slightly – even on BuildTak! 🙁
Depending on your printer it might be a tight fit. Adjust fireWidth, fireHeight, fireThickness in the OpenSCAD file if you need to open it out a bit more – Print the right hand section first to test the fit – it’s quicker.
If your printer doesn’t go as high as 200mm then adjust slicePoint in the file to reduce , but it has to be more than 50% of the model to allow for the two halves to be screwed together.
The two half’s are joined with M3 countersunk machine screws (12mm+). These thread into the plastic so don’t over tighten. The rear wall mounts also help keep the frame together.
Select your USB cable carefully. Use a right angle Micro B connector. If it’s too tight increase the size of the frame (boxWidth) or find a slightly smaller one. The round right angle ones work well, some right angle ones are a little too big. See photos for how to feed the cable when putting the two halves together.
Latest version will be on GitHub: https://github.com/BookSwapSteve/3DPrintableThings/tree/master/KindleFireMounts/Fire%20HD%2010

Print vertically.
Unless you’re printing the round corner version, then horizontally will be better.
Increase infil if you wish. I get a pattern on the face with the infil so more might be better.
Use supports, you can get away with not when printing vertical but the wall mounting holes will be messy. I set my supports to 85% overhang angle, this avoids infil in the holes for joining the two sections -

Thunderbird 2 and Pod 3D Print Model
Summary
This model is an updated version of my TB2 Pod (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1395981). This new version, however, does not use components from the (wonderful!) Thunderbird 2 model by Len Hickman; instead, it is a remix of my latest improvements to the one-piece model by Tobz. I split the model up for easier printing.
Note: the legs shown in the screenshots are not included in this “work-in-progress” release. These may be included in a future release.

Micro FPV Camera to HS1177 Size Adapter 3D Print Model
Summary
This is a simple adapter to allow me to fit Micro cameras into models designed for ‘full size’ HS1177 style cameras. I’m sharing this in case others find it useful!
It should make the lens of the Micro Camera present at the front of the model roughly where the camera of a full sized FPV camera would be. There are holes to secure the Micro camera into the housing and two more that replicate the ‘standard’ mounting holes on a full sized camera.
Hope it’s useful to someone! 😀

Tamiya Rising Fighter Upper Body / Spoiler Mount (Part D3) 3D Print Model
Summary
So my son’s Tamiya Rising Fighter lost out in a bike vs. r/c car collision and cracked the part where the upper body and spoiler mount to the chassis (part D3). Tried to get a replacement but was not available anywhere (Tamiya or online) except in the UK. So I did my best to design a replacement in Tinkercad.
Not sure if this is a common part to break no the car as this was kind of a strange accident but thought I would post in case someone else is in a similar situation.

Notes:
I used ABS since I had some. I think PLA would work too but might not be as durable especially as you take the body off which screws into the piece. Best bet would probably be nylon but I didn’t have any so ABS it is.
Supports are needed given the shape. I use a brim when printing with ABS as I seem to get less issues with warping. Also, glue stick works really nice with ABS and allows for the part to be removed fairly easily.
I you want a really professional print you could order this through Shapeways which could be printed in nylon. -
