Summary
This is my first iteration of a 3d printable model of the bennet linkage.
The Bennet linkage is an overconstrained mechanism, which consists of four links connected by four revolute joints.
My objetive is to make a pre assebled 3d printable model for generating complex deployable structures. I´m with too much projects so i encorage you to take this as starting point to explore this interesting theme. I uploaded an igs version of the files for easy modifications.
Esta es mi primera iteración sobre un modelo imprimible en 3d del mecanismo de Bennett.
Se trata de un mecanismo de cuatro barras y cuatro vínculos de libre giro. Sus relaciones permiten que se depliegue formando un plano y se pliegue agrupando todas las barras en forma paralela.
Mi objetivo es hacer un modelo pre-ensamblado que facilmente permita la genereacín de estructuras plegables complejas. Publico mi comienzo por si alguien le interesa explorar este interesante tema y aportar a la causa común para la evolución del modelo.

Print as the “stl” indicates, no support.
In order to achive a complete Bennett linkage you must print one pair of “bennettt1” and one pair of “bennettt2”.
Assemble the hinges with a piece of 1.75 filament, melt the edges to fix position of the axle.
