MPCNC Universal Holder for Brother Vinyl Cutter 3D Print Model
Summary
This is a model made for HicWic’s Universal Mount for the MPCNC. I used his base Mini Mount and modified it until it would hold my Brother Vinyl cutter to my liking. It is very stable and will not budge when fully inserted. I have no tried to cut Vinyl with it yet, but I imagine that any failure would be due to something other than this part.
You can find HicWic’s original Universal Mount here:

Shipping Container Extra Vents 3D Print Model
Summary
I made this part a few months ago for my shipping container to help dissipate the heat from the blaring sun. it turned out working out really good. They don’t take long to print.
I cut a hole with a 1 inch pipe conduit connector size (electrical one inch size connector)
Put silicone on the base
pushed it in
cut a screen to cover the back to prevent skeeters and black flies from entering
and it worked out perfect, air flows nicely and water stays out.
With the rains we’ve been getting lately, I haven’t seen any traces of water. -

Tronxy X3 or X3A Y-Stabilizer 3D Print Model
Summary
Just another remix! I kinda feel like a model DJ… Hahaha
Anyways I wanted to use the original but the bolt heads that came with my bed and from the local hardware store where all to large to fit in the recess, fortunately the nuts for the bed are smaller than most “Chinese” I guess. So now you can use large heads on this thingi but flipping them around. Hope its useful. 🙂 -

A larger nut for “fessyFOO’s Yet Another Belt Tensioner” 3D Print Model
Summary
The original nut was a little too small and its edges to sharp for my taste, so I redesigned the outer ring in fusion 360 and smoothed the edges with fillets. The larger outer diameter helps put more force with ease! -

Lisam LS-210 frame and battery protectors 3D Print Model
Summary
First make sure that you measure these in your 3D printing software before printing.
These protect your arm ends and front and back – and are sacrificial to protect your frame from delaminating or splintering – so print a few and save your frame.
The top plate is to protect top mounted batteries from puncturing on the bolt heads.
Here are the cnc files for the actual frame https://grabcad.com/library/lisam210-1

Mushu Horns 3D Print Model
Summary
I designed these for a Halloween costume. They came out so well that I thought I’d share them.
Cheers!
These were printed one at a time, but I combined them into one file for convenience. Also, These were printed using both ‘black magic’ settings in Cura (“spiralize the outer contour” and “only follow mesh surface”).
Post processing: Light sanding with 600 grit. Dark blue acrylic on the tips, followed by clear coat everywhere. The plastic used was transparent blue PLA from Alchement.

Toothed Clip/Clamp 3D Print Model
Summary
I made this clip to hold coiled exercise bands so that they wouldn’t flop around. However, it can be used for anything that would benefit from being compressed together like extension cords, audio cables, etc. One could modify it to have a bigger arm radius or be longer/short depending on your needs. I’d also considered putting a loop on one side so that it could be hung on a wall or work station.

Depending on the your printers accuracy, you may need to take an X-Acto knife to the male end so that it can slide easily in and out of the receiving piece. -

Anet A8 Dial Indicator Back Support Adjustable 3D Print Model
Summary
Warning:
You need to open M4 threads on the linear bearing blocks to use this part!
Description
I made this support to use my dial indicator on a practical way on my printer. I want to hold the dial indicator as close as the extruder center, and it’s hard to that because the whole extruder structure is a little bulky (fans, extruder motor, etc.) so I decided to fix the dial indicator on the back of the linear bearing blocks.
Material:
M4 tap

Pixel Guy 3D Print Model
Summary
A bit unfixed, I had to slice off part of the back last time it was printed. It is a excellent way to test a new 3D Printer. See the slight disabilities of it(with no overhangs). It is a tiny character I made quite a while ago(2015). Any suggestions will be a very large help to how the rest turn out.

DW660 Quick Release Dust Shoe with ring for attaching skirt 3D Print Model
Summary
This is a simple remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:410266 which is in turn a remix of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:231219, a dust shoe for the DeWalt 660.
I found it necessary for our applications on our home brew router to have a skirt. This mix adds a ring in the appropriate place to zip tie a skirt to the dust shoe. It also removes some of the interior plastic that kept causing jams with larger wood chips. I am using 3/16″ thick rubber though vinyl or other materials would work just as well.
This is probably obvious, but print this upright. I realize it’s on its side. That was a side effect of importing it for me.
Good support settings are an absolute necessity on this one due to it having to reach up into the part to support the upper area.
I printed this at low resolution and fast speed. For me this helps with bridging which is handy for the cavity that the pin must travel through. Support doesn’t really work there.

3DS Nintendo Switch Cartridge Adapter 3D Print Model
Summary
Inspired by Athankaspen’s DS to Switch Cartridge Adapter. I liked the concept but wanted indents on the sides to pull the carts out with more ease.
The fit is pretty tight for the switch cart. I included the Fusion 360 file and .stp in case you wish to make adjustments.

I noticed one of my first prints was SLIGHTLY too wide to fit in my 3DS case while others were fine. Also, the print can be a bit tight for the Switch Cartridge. Because of this, I printed at a 0.85mm shell thickness to account for any variances in the print walls.
As a warning: the bottom under the Switch cart opening is fairly thin at 0.5mm.
How I Designed This
Shape based off the model of TBRIshtar’s 3DS Dummy Cartridge. Remodeled the shape in Fusion 360 and added the Switch cart space plus indents. -

Cube 3 spool holder 3D Print Model
Summary
Printing using a 3D Systems Cube 3, when the filament breaks it takes too long to open the cartridge to free the broken filament, feed new one and close the cartridge case again.
To save myself some time, I modified the cartridge case as per picture, created and printed a spool holder as to feed the printer from outside the cartridge. Now if the filament breaks I can easily fix it 🙂
