LCD Knob with a thumb sub-knob 3D Print Model
Summary
As for many of us, the knob that came in the kit was not working properly and got lost on the second day (or night, not sure, not enough sleep).
I wanted a small knob, that would allow to quickly change the speed of the print (as I’m twitchy during the night prints, usually worse by 4 am).
I’ve added a finger-tip knob onto the knob, to allow for faster/lazier spinning of the dial.
If it works for you, I’m glad. If it doesn’t, don’t bill me for the fill.
PS: Feel free to adjust the height (Z) of the knob.
Original size was slightly exaggerated in order to accommodate for the bracket of the spool holder, which is a bit too close to the knob. -

Blue Microphones Yeti Shock Mount 3D Print Model
Summary
This is a shock mount I designed for my Blue Yeti microphone. It requires 1/8″ bungee cord for assembly, approximately 1-2M if you want to be safe. Using dabs of hot glue when assembling the arms to the clamps would help with assembly.
NO EXTRA HARDWARE IS REQUIRED. The thumbscrews that are included with the Blue Yeti can be used to mount the clamps to the microphone body, as designed. You don’t need to purchase hardware, just bungee cord.
A mic adapter can be taken off of most mic holders (check model for exact tab width to be sure it’ll fit) if not, those mic holders usually come with boom arms from Amazon. Super easy to get ahold of, especially if you need a boom arm as well.

With this kit you can explain different 3D printing parameters :

Winston from Overwatch 3D Print Model
Summary
My Version of a Winston from Overwatch. It´s not 100% the same as in the game but i have tried to make it as good as possible.
Made with ZBrush, edited with Meshmixer and repaired with Microsoft on-board 3D-Builder.
I sliced him in different pieces to make it easier to print. -

1/4-20 pistol grip 3D Print Model
Summary
1/4-20 pistol grip for camera or other. Others had adjustments on top, and the bolt was near the top. This is recessed in, for an event where you need a MUCH stronger mount for heavy application.
In this case, a steel plate is bolted to this part, and a strong magnet is used to hold devices to it. Needed a lot of strength as commercially available versions were breaking.
I printed at 30 and 50% infill, in ABS. Used Deck screws to mount the mating parts. -

Realistic DX-350 Shortwave Radio Battery Door 3D Print Model
Summary
I’ve had this DX-350 radio forever, and I’ve never had a battery door for it, until now!
If you’re reading this, you may be the only other person on earth that still has a DX-350.
I went through 12 versions until I had one that fit tight, went on and off easily, and didn’t interfere with anything under the door. I have no idea what the original looked like, or how it worked, so this could be better or worse. No idea. If yours is also missing altogether, this one is definitely better 🙂
Post-printing break off the small support at the end of the door clip. It’s only .4mm wide and easily pops right off.
To install the door, slip the hinge end in first, then pull the door back with the finger slot to allow the tongue to fit into the slot. I used plain old PLA, and it was plenty flexible. I’ve had it on and off 10x without issue.
Enjoy!

2020 Caster Mount 3D Print Model
Summary
Inspired by this NYC3D caster mount (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2463705) I designed my own due to being unable to source a 28mm screw space caster wheel. This caster mount will work for any 20×20 V-slot extrusions. For the wheels i am sourcing them from Home Depot Everblit line, that makes it a lot easier to get for most people in North America.
When installing the M5 nut it will be a tight fit, use your pliers to push it in.

Spray can holder for 55mm cans 3D Print Model
Summary
Just a simple can holder for a can smaller than 55mm in diameter. We mountain bike and during the summer, bug repellent spray is mandatory, so we keep a can in the car. Problem is there’s no good spot for it and so it winds up rolling around the car, so I designed this simple holder to be mounted on the side of the cargo area using double-sided tape.

Chopped up for cleaner prints and some minor cleanup on gun barrels and body. The model has hollow areas in some places and I cleaned up a few.
With 25% infill or more on the main body, it comes out fine except the bottom doors which you can rip off after printing. Thay may print better at larger sizes.

Tevo Little Monster Clip-On Cable Fenders 3D Print Model
Summary
Tonight when I was calibrating my Little Monster I heard that awful sound when the cable gets stuck between the truck and the optical sensor… It’s probably the 20th time it’s happened but this time I said enough is enough!
So I made these cable guards that only take 10 minutes to print and they snap into position and won’t budge unless you want them to – they work a treat! 🙂

S800 Sky Shadow improved servo horn 3D Print Model
Summary
Just a small little servo horn with around the same distances than the original that comes with the kit. The problem with the original one was that the horn has to be placed directly through the carbon rod in the control surface. My version should fix that and has a spare space for the carbon rod to go between the servo horn fixture.
At the moment untested, I will update if I have the time to build my S800 😉

Dropcam Pro Window Mount 3D Print Model
Summary
This is a Dropcam Pro window mount based on the window mount by robcurtis, however, I remixed it to eliminate the blind-spots (in the corners of the video) caused by the original design’s round aperture. I also added two additional holes, which I can only assume are present for drainage of any moisture/humidity that may build-up within the mount once it’s on the window. This design holds the camera at a 15-degree angle to the window, just as the original design.

I printed this using a 10mm brim because of the rather narrow bed contact area, but it could probably be printed as-is if you have good bed adhesion. Otherwise, no supports are needed and anything from 20%-25% infill will provide plenty of structure and strength. -

Mastercrafted Wolven Silver Sword – The Witcher 3D Print Model
Summary
Every budding Witcher needs their trusty twin swords, and here we have the Mastercrafted Wolven Silver sword from the Witcher 3. (Steel available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2761042)
Being scaled to the lore and the game files, the hilt is just over 12″ long, and the blade a further 38″. A pair of holes are present down the blade in order to house two 2.5 x 1m long carbon fibre cores and keep everything together. These are designed to poke slightly out of the blade and into the hilt for truer centering. A second hole also runs down the length of the hilt and into the blade in order to contain a 1/8″ x 3/8″ steel core.
The grip is designed so that you can wrap a 3mm thick leather cord around them and have a true look to the game designs.
The runes read “One made of silver” / “for creatures” as a callback to an in-game quote, as well as “Valentine Costumes” (my cosplay brand) – if you wish I am willing to customise this file with your own text or different runes (price dependant on changes) – please feel free to contact me if you’re interested in this service.
Due to common transportation issues with large blades such as this, it is designed to come apart where the blade and hilt meet. If you attach the hilt to the aforementioned metal core, you can then drill a 5mm hole in the core at the point where a hole features in the top of the blade (Blade_2 file), and then use a 5mm binding screw to hold it all together.
Please feel free to use / modify this model as you wish, but credit is always appreciated.
Now get out there and kill some monsters

Creality Ender 4 strain relief 3D Print Model
Summary
I wanted a strain relief bracket which didn’t interfere with the bed levelling screws – instead, one that clamped the bed carriage would be ideal using m3 hardware
The one I made is v1. This is version 2, featuring an angle to avoid screws contacting the bed, nut retainer insets and slightly narrowed. I reduced the diameter of the cable channel to get a tighter cinch with the cable ties.
To complete, use two m3 10mm or 12mm bolts and nuts to clamp the carriage, and two small cable ties, just push them through.

To print, rotate onto its side, it shouldn’t need supports though a brim may help. If using PLA, print it slightly hotter than normal (PLA+ settings) to increase interlayer bonding. Printed 215-220 deg C to increase strength.
Infill doesn’t really matter, 3 perimeters / 1.2mm wall is what I used, it’s more than enough.

Pen Plotter 3D Print Model
Summary
This is an attachment made to turn your 3D printer into a 2D pen plotter. The bracket simply bolts onto the bottom right corner of the hot end fan. I designed this pen plotter so that it fits around a radial fang mount. A 5mm bolt is used to hold the pen in place and a lock nut can be press fit in the inside of the pen hole. The bracket is capable of holding pens up to the size of a typical sharpie. I have attached the STL, along with the solidworks part file incase anyone wants to remix this part. -
