Download Free 3D Model Benchy Vehicles 3D Print Model

Summary
A few of my classmates and I were tasked to design a torture test-type project, and after seeing and analyzing the Benchy Boat, we decided to base our test off of that. Each of us made 1 model; a plane, a train, a car, and a motorcycle.
Plane: High Resolution, Symmetry, Surface Details, Cylindrical Shapes, Overhang Surfaces,
and Bridging
Train: Symmetry, Horizontal Faces, Surface Details, Cylindrical Shapes, and Bridging
Car: Smooth Overhanging Curved Surfaces, Symmetry, Surface Details, Low Slope Surfaces,
Large Horizontal Holes, and Slanted Small Holes
Motorcycle: Symmetry, High Resolution, Surface Details, and Small Horizontal Holes
We also designed a base for all 4 pieces to snap into, which had tested Low Slope Surfaces, First Layer Details, and High Resolution.
There were no major issues in printing, only minor details that show what the printers are capable of. For the plane, the wings were very thin, and didn’t print completely solid. The train only failed slightly with the open part in the back. It was used to test the bridging, and mostly worked, only becoming a little bit stringy. The car was mostly fine, but the details on the license plate were lost, and it was hard to read (it was supposed to say “Benchy”). The bike printed fine, but a few of the horizontal holes weren’t as detailed as they were supposed to be. The base worked, the letters on the bottom printed fine and the base was very solid.
NOTE: We didn’t get a chance to take pictures of the bike. Sorry.
