    The nozzle for my Conair Infinity Pro hair dryer has 2 broken tabs. With only one holding tab and 3 other non-holding tabs left, the nozzle does not stay on to the dryer. This adapter fits snugly with the original nozzle and the hair dryer without having to glue it for me. It is printed with the ABS and recommended with other high temp filaments only. The print time for the 0.2 mm layer height, 30% infill will take about 30~60 min, depending on your speed settings.

    These bearing adapter can mount the IGUS RJM-01 (and maybe the RJMP-01) bearings on the ultrabase printbed. The design has been optimised to fix the bearing without squeezing it to much, so the bearing will not be deformed. the printbeds height remains the same as with the stock bearings. The design will be tested during the next days/weeks, hopefully there will not be the need to insert retaining rings to hold the bearing in place. Current design allows the use of a single bearing, maybe i will upgrade it to a double bearing version after the basic design is tested. For the current test, i used 0.15 layers of nx2 pla from extrudr, which actually sticks like hell on the ultrabase printbed (; (200°C, 60°C).

    This is a simple adapter to allow me to fit Micro cameras into models designed for ‘full size’ HS1177 style cameras. I’m sharing this in case others find it useful!
    It should make the lens of the Micro Camera present at the front of the model roughly where the camera of a full sized FPV camera would be. There are holes to secure the Micro camera into the housing and two more that replicate the ‘standard’ mounting holes on a full sized camera.

    Case for Aukey USB-C Adapter
    This case holds 2 Aukey USB-C to USB 3.0 (USB-A) adapters. It is designed to have a 6 x 3 mm magnet embedded in each the box and the lid to hold them together.
    To embed the magnets, I used GCode Simulator to find the height of the first layer above the hole for the magnet, then I inserted command M600 to pause the printer. When I added the magnet it wanted to lift out of place and stick to the gantry of my printer when I resumed printing, so I glued it in place with a drop of super glue before resuming. When placing the magnets, be sure to orient them so that the lid and box are attracted to each other when assembled.

    Not exactly remixed but certainly heavily influenced by mianzel’s laser holder, I’ve redrawn all of the geometry in fusion 360, thickened everything up, now the rings have a cross section of 10mm and the upright and bed are solid pieces, the holes in the rings are designed to have threaded inserts melted into them but you could probably hand tap as well, I used M3 rivet nuts I found on Amazon, printed at 30% infill in a black pla but will be attempting in a petg as well

    Lovely router by all reports (I haven’t actually set it up yet), but the steep angled legs make the built-in mounting slots rather ridiculous. They’re an inch away from the wall and tilted at about a 26-degree angle.
    CAUTION: Synology’s instructions for this router say simply to place it on a flat surface and make no reference to the keyhole slots underneath. There is also a safety note, “Place the product right side up at all times.” Possibly I’ll have gone to all this trouble just to cook my router. I doubt it, but if yours overheats and you think it was because you put it on the wall, do let me know!
    (I have so little flat surface available between computers, ink printers, 3D printers, a solder rework station and bookshelves, I’m willing to risk it.)

    To avoid strain along layers, I rotated it to print standing tall with a 2mm brim. (See the PrintSetup.PNG screen capture.)
    Make sure that the axis along which the little pins extend is your X or Y as printed, not Z, or the layers and the pins might detach under strain.
    Post-Printing
    Try #6 screws to mount it. #8 screws are a bit too large. I put the keyhole slots 2″ apart.
    How I Designed This
    Mostly just trial and error. Third try was the charm. I’m puzzled by the fact that according both to my digital caliper and the values I had to put into FreeCAD to make it work, the centers on the router’s mounting slots are about 2.06″ apart. That doesn’t even make sense as ~52.3mm.

    Summary
    Replacement prop adapter for E-flite Ultra Micro (UMX) airplanes. Replaces EFLU4067, this should work on any UMX airplane which uses the 180-size brushless motor. This will still break in the event of a crash, protecting the rest of the aircraft.
    This is set up to run just the prop, length has been adjusted so no spinner/backplate are required.
    Holes should be good to go, the 3 mounting holes may need slight enlargement – I do this by just twisting an X-acto knife around in there a couple of times.

    Summary
    I didn’t like the way the spools rode on the shaft for the Cr-10, so I designed up this spool adapter. If you print one for each side of the spool, they fit over the shaft and inside the spool ID for a much better fit. This also ensures the nut holds the material on, without over tightening. Designed for the Inland 1.75mm 1Kg spools, but works for others as well.
    I also recently picked up smaller test spools for glow in the dark and color changing material, and found they were thinner causing the adapters to walk out during printing, so I designed up a quick spacer to solve that problem as well.

    I used the raft to keep the spool flat against the build plate, but it would likely print without. PLA works fine as these take no load.

    Thrustmaster Wheel Adapter – suit Ferrari 458 Challenge wheel/TX Base 3D Print Model

    Summary
    Adapter to allow you to fit an aftermarket wheel to the TX Racing Wheel with a Ferrari 458 Challenge wheel as a base. Includes paddle shift extensions and D-Pad extension/replacement
    The 458 Challenge wheel has separate buttons and paddle shifters so is ideal to modify. To retain the D-Pad you will need to drill the replacement wheel. I used the adapter as a template then drill/file to suit.
    Some hardware required –
    Adapter is designed to accept M5 nuts. Wheels typically require M5 countersunk bolts.
    Screws into wheel base are not long enough, I used 20mm M4 but you may get away with 15mm?
    Paddle shifter extensions will accept M3 nut/bolts, I drilled the original paddles at 3.5mm and countersunk the extensions for flush finish.
    Printing –
    I printed in PLA at 95% infill to create a solid part. If you have tuned your extrusion 100% may be a better option.
    The adapter is designed for the print to be paused, then drop the M5 nuts into the print, then recommence print. This locks the nuts in the print. The fit is deliberately loose to allow easy insertion, if you are quick this can be done without pausing print. I typically put a layer of masking tape on the top of the nuts, this allows the filament to bond to the nut a little better. In any case the print usually recovers in a few layers.
    I have tested this for quite some time without issue. Assuming you have good layer bond the adapter should be strong enough.
    D-Pad extension brings the D-Pad out flush with the new wheel position. Paddle shifter extension works well with 320mm wheel but I don’t see any issues with slightly larger wheel.

    Probably not too useful since plain old masking tape or zip ties could do the same thing, but whatever, the students were impressed.

    I had some difficulty getting the inside diameter right, it need to be 10.7mm, but when I made it with that size, it ended up being 10.4mm, which is to small. I’m using a 0.4mm nozzle, so that might have something to do with it, as the outside is 14mm and it came out right.

    I noticed one of my first prints was SLIGHTLY too wide to fit in my 3DS case while others were fine. Also, the print can be a bit tight for the Switch Cartridge. Because of this, I printed at a 0.85mm shell thickness to account for any variances in the print walls.
    As a warning: the bottom under the Switch cart opening is fairly thin at 0.5mm.
    How I Designed This
    Shape based off the model of TBRIshtar’s 3DS Dummy Cartridge. Remodeled the shape in Fusion 360 and added the Switch cart space plus indents.

    This could easily be changed at any time, as I may need to tweek it depending on how long this one lasts
    I got a DJI Spark a week ago and have been using my nexus 5x with the controller. I have a Nexus 7 tablet I rarely use but it doesnt fit in the spark controller arms. So I modeled up a fake Nexus size block and two posts with a bracket on top that fits the Nexus 7 well….Note, I added 2% to the print in slicing to make up for some shrinkage and it was spot on.
    I printed it today and just used it tonight. I had some screws laying around..3/4″ #4 (sheet metal or wood screws are fine), with counter sunk heads. Used a counter sink bit to the printed holes to make them fit just right on the top and bottom pieces. 4 screws total. Printed in PETG.

    How to use:
    Print it
    Remove the headlight cowling from the KLR (the 2 phillips and the 4 M6 bolts).
    Disconnect the headlight and turn signals
    Remove the light cover
    Raise the light lock
    Remove the old light bulb
    Put the adapter with the widthest part to the front. There is only 1 way to put there.
    Lock the adapter in the right location
    Remove the OEM adapter from your led bulb
    Put the led into the adapter. Be carefull that led bulb have 2 marks, one is bigger.
    Once enter, turn the led bulb in clockwise direction until stop it.
    You could need to cut the cover in order to fit the led heat sink.

    This is a slight remix of poor_red_neck’s Lithophane Night Light adapter. I used his guide to create mine. I used all of the same settings as him, except in the model settings on http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/ I set the curve to 160. This makes the lithophane wrap around the light more.
    I remixed his adapter, adding more curve to fit the new shape of the lithophane as well as adding a bit of support to the wings that slide around the light.

    We bought two of these but they didn’t come with any hardware for stacking. I wasn’t comfortable with them stacked using only the small plastic bumps that didn’t seem secure for daily use.
    This is the beautiful thing about consumer 3D printing that’s easily accessible. Opened Fusion 360 (for the first time) and with the digital caliper created a part in minutes and sent it off to the printer. BAM! prototype #1 was perfect.
    Anyways, sharing this on the off chance someone else with a 3D printer has this same organizer.
