I would recommend printing the models at 2 x scale if you want to use it. The size the stl files are now are useable but a little small.
Post-Printing
After printing I colored the pieces with sharpie to add some contrast.
How I Designed This
I had first sketched it out on grid paper. Then I modeled the pieces in Fusion 360.
