Swarmlord replacement teeth 3D Print Model
Summary
snapped some of the teeth off my swarmlord when trying to remove the supports in the mouth
so instead of having a pirate swarmlord, I reinforced the teeth, added some gap filler bits so they print all one piece. (top jaw, bottom jaw)
lay it flat and print it at the smallest resolution your printer can do.
this remix isnt needed if you are printing the swarmlord at 1/1 tabletop scale but i’m scaling mine up quite a bit so the teeth start to get fiddly. -

I printed the U shape with 0,2 res with a 0,4 nozzle.
The locking mechanism is printed with 0,125 res with 0,25 nozzle.
Will probably work to print both parts in 0,2 res with 0,4 nozzle.

Couch Sofa Release Lever Slip-on Replacement Fix 3D Print Model
Summary
The release lever for my couch snapped-off, so I designed this fix for it. Since a “stub” of the original lever still remained, I designed this thing to slip on over the remaining stub. Printed in black PLA to match the couch, though I realize this makes it a bit hard to see in the photos.
The first photo shows the printed part attached to the couch. The second shows the “stub” that the printed part fits over. The third is a reference photo of a still-intact release lever. The fourth is just the part by itself.

replacement sterilite container clip 3D Print Model
Summary
I buy lots of these sterilite containers. I imagine a lot of 3D printing hobbyists do. Frequent usage means the clips eventually break. Instead of having to spend another $5 – $12 dollars and throw away a perfectly good container, I drafted a replacement clip.
I know it’s lame, but I use a lot of them and it is wasteful to have to purchase again. The attached image is the container where I keep my coffee. Of course that’s going to break first, using it everyday for over 2 years.

Replacement Leg Brackets For Futon 3D Print Model
Summary
The plastic legs broke on the center of my futon (which for some reason hinges in the middle?!) and so I sawed off the broken bracket portion of the legs and printed replacement brackets which could be epoxied onto the remaining legs. It works great while in place because the brackets don’t need to be load bearing but I would not be able to move the futon without breaking them. So if you use these be smart about it. This futon was a bad design. -

Replacement Oven Dial Knob 3D Print Model
Summary
I get really attached to my kitchen items. Each one has been carefully chosen at the time of purchase to fulfill a specific purpose and my heart breaks when, after decades of use, a small part either disappears or just craps out, rendering the whole thing unusable.
Well, I’m not gonna let that happen to my beloved Toastmaster toaster oven, doggone it! So, the timer knob popped off and never really fit on again. So, I pulled out the calipers, dusted off the ol’ 3D printer and came up with this thing. Fits perfectly. Lovely, even.
If you found this useful, it would bring me great joy to see your work – so be sure to share. 🙂
Or, better yet, please feel free to dump a bitcoin or two here (you can spare a bitcoin, can’t ya?):
1Py3TUeR8noBN2giHyFV1GfB6x3Kh2WEVv
… include a note to the effect of “Hi 3E8, thanks for the Toastmaster dial thing… my life is infinitely better on account of it and please accept this paltry amount in gratitude”.
You’re welcome! (in advance) 😀
Also, feel free to peruse my other submissions which are almost as varied as they are many:

Magic chef replacement ice bucket 3D Print Model
Summary
Replacement ice “bucket” for my magic chef ice maker. Mine cracked and started leaking rusty water from the motor and the alternative is $20-30 (37 from Amazon/prime)
Not quite at the final design, but will update when I am. Designed it as two parts because it’s just beyond a 200mm bed. The long this party was the easiest to cut off and make assemblable. Just bolt with a 40(?)mm m3 bolt, nut and locking washer.

Fiamma aqua 8 pump piston replacement 3D Print Model
Summary
I have a Fiamma Aqua 8 water pump, which lost lots of its pumping capacity.
Turns out the three acryllic(?) “pistons” inside were cracked and broken to pieces.
Replacements are available at Fiamma, but not these pistons as a set, you get almost half a pump when you order the part number. It costs almost 50 euros!
I printed these pistons in ABS with a 0.2mm layer height, 35% infill and 3 outline perimeters as well as 3 top and bottom layers. -

Replacement Sunglass Frames 3D Print Model
Summary
I play volleyball and break a pair of glasses every season (which is why I buy cheap ones…), but this year it happened early in the season, and I decided that I was going to build my own replacement… after all the lenses were perfectly fine.
The frame (green plastic) is modeled after, and uses the the lenses from a pair of inexpensive Foster Grant “Slam Dunk” Polarized sunglasses. (Frame name was imprinted on on temple of the original frames).
I designed these replacement frames from scratch, and tweaked the design a lot to get the lenses to snap in and hold firm just right. I used the original temples (black plastic) and hinge screws.
