SAMP-T and Radar Arabel and missile ASTER-30 pack 3D Model
The SAMP/T also called MAMBA in the French army is a theatre antimissile system designed to protect the battlefield and sensitive tactical sites (such as airports and sea ports) against all current and future airborne threats, including cruise missiles, manned and unmanned aircraft and tactical ballistic missiles in the 600 km range class. The SAMP/T is produced by Eurosam, a 50:50 joint venture between MBDA and Thales. Its key components are the Aster 30 interceptor and Arabel multi-function radar. The SAMP/T has been designed to operate in extreme clutter and electronic countermeasures environments. Interoperability with other NATO air defense systems is another key for the SAMP/T program. The entire system could be airlifted by the latest NATO tactical transport aircraft such as the Airbus A400M and Lockheed-Martin C-130J Super Hercules deploying them anywhere around the globe. The French Air Force, after the Volfa exercise in February 2011, deployed a MAMBA (SAMP/T) unit to provide air defence coverage for the G8 summit in Deauville. The first French MAMBA squadron achieved operational status in October 2011. In March 2012 the MAMBA (SAMP/T) proved its ability to support Army mobile formations while matching their maneuver tempo. In June 2012, the Italian Army activates its first SAMP/T Regiment, in Mantova. On 6 March 2013, the Italian Army and the French Air Force deployed their SAMP/T medium range air defence systems for the first time within a NATO architecture in successfully intercepting a target representative of a theatre ballistic missile. After about 300 km of ballistic flight, the target, which had been launched from an aircraft, was destroyed by the Aster 30 interceptor missile. In September 2013, Singapore’s Defense Minister has announced that the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) will acquire the Eurosam Aster 30 / SAMP-T Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) Air Defense System to establish a multi-layered defense against aerial threats.

MBDA MMP 3D Model
The MMP programme originated in 2009[7] to develop a successor to MBDA’s forty-year old MILAN. This was particularly in response to a French Urgent Operational Requirement of 2010 which had led to the purchase of the US-made Javelin, rather than MILAN;[2] 260 Javelins were ordered because of its fire-and-forget capability, which also led to MBDA’s improved MILAN-ER offering being rejected because it lacked such a feature.[8] The UK, previously a major user of MILAN, had also converted to Javelin.In 2011, the requirement set by the French Army called for a multipurpose precision strike capability to equip the front line units as well as special operation forces. The missile to be procured had to be able to destroy ground targets, fixed or moving, from light vehicles up to the latest generation MBTs, as well as personnel whether dismounted or protected behind fortifications. The firing officer had to be protected during the engagement thanks to ease of operation, fire and forget guidance and a capability to fire the missile from confined spaces.[9]After competing against the Lockheed Martin/Raytheon Javelin and Rafael Spike,[8] in December 2013 an order was placed by the French DGA to equip the French Army with the MMP as of 2017.[6] Testing began in 2014, with warhead tests against MBT armour and then in April launches in a test tunnel to confirm missile safety for its launch crew.[6] MMP was displayed at Eurosatory 2014.[10]The first firing trial of MMP was carried out by DGA in its Bourges (central France) facilities on 3 February 2015, with the missile hitting a fixed target at a range of over 4,000 meters.[11]The development programme had been funded privately by MBDA, and scheduled to be completed by 2017.[7] On 29 November 2017, the DGA announced the delivery of a first batch of 20 firing posts and 50 MMP missiles after a successful operational evaluation firing campaign held by the French Army.[12] The first units will be used for training ahead of deployment in 2018. The VBCI 2 is a wheeled infantry fighting vehicle. It is an improved version of the original French VBCI, developed by Nexter Systems. Developers took into account feedback from tests and combat experience of the original VBCI. The Mark 2 was first publicly revealed in 2015. This IFV is aimed mainly at export customers.The VBCI Mk.2 has a higher level of protection and firepower. The Mk.2 is much heavier than its predecessor. It weights 32 000 kg opposed to 25 600 kg. Vehicle is powered by a new engine.Even though the new VBCI 2 looks like the older version. In fact it has an all-new hull that is longer and has a higher roofline. The hull is welded of aluminum armor. Vehicle can be fitted with add-on modular steel armor package or even titanium armor plates, so protection level can be tailored depending on mission requirements. All-round protection is against 14.5-mm armor-piercing projectiles. NBC protection and fire suppression systems are fitted as standard.
