If the texture is applied incorrectly, you might have to invert the blacks and whites of the sheet before plugging into the Dielectric/Metal input.-You can easily adjust the iris size by playing around with the UV map. The blender file contains a seam for easily selecting the Iris UV unwrap or the sclera.
