Double 45 Prusa MK2/S heatbed cable cover for enclosures (The Viper) 3D Print Model

This is a heatbed cable cover for Original Prusa i3 MK2/S designed to work in IKEA lack enclosures. I really liked Neeper’s design and wanted to modify it just abit to better work in my enclosure. I also wanted to lose the zip-tie so I made a little cover for the back held together by two M3x12 bolts and 2 hex nuts. I modified the eyes to have more depth since printing my own so please let me know if you print this and have trouble getting it to fit. -

Automata-4 Ben rides around the clock 3D Print Model
Summary
Ben on his own this time, rides around the clock on his Unicycle. After their stint at the Gym I thought I would try to get some more movement into the character, so the idea formed of movement along a circular path would be straightforward to achieve but a bit boring, so I had him move a minute hand of a clock around a Dial and introduced the gears to turn the hour hand as well. He can now be used to teach a child to tell the time as well as providing some amusement.
A 3:1 ratio pair of Bevel gears drive the Unicycle around and the friction between the wheel and the top face of the box drives the legs around on the pedals.

The M.A.S.S. Device (GI Joe) 3D Print Model
Summary
The M.A.S.S. Device was the plot focus of the Sunbow GI Joe cartoon of 1983. There was a toy released for this but I decided to base this model off of two cartoon images I found online…it looked more impressive. But because of this the model is quite large, roughly 16″ x 10″ and fits in with the rest of the toys in this line. As with the rest of the files I’ve created this model is intended to be printed at 25%. Printing larger or smaller you may have too much or too little detail.
My painted print in the pictures is roughly 4″ x 3.5″ x 4″ tall.
This file is free to download. Please note that it is listed as “non-commercial”. Neither you nor I are allowed to buy or sell physical copies of this 3-D model. You are allowed (and encouraged) to print copies for your own personal use. Cealyn the Caliburn – Scar Barrel Reinforcement 3D Print Model
Summary
The retaining arms on my Caliburn SCAR Barrel broke on my first print, and started to weaken on my second, so I made a quick reinforcement piece. This not only helps to hold the retaining arms so they will be less likely to break, but it makes the whole SCAR barrel operate a little more tightly.
I included an obj, which should hopefully be set up correctly, but I am unsure as I model in Blender.
It is good fodder for visual modifications, as it does not have to twist, and sits on top of the barrel.

The Varnerized Prusa 1.0.0 3D Print Model
Summary
Winter of 2018, I created a Prusa i3 clone.
You can build this printer for $250, or less. I did, including the cost of a 1kg spool of ABS.
The frame was based off the Original Prusa MK3 frame, but fabricated from plywood laminations. I created and used router templates (and a flush trim bit) from the Prusa .dxf files.
The rest of the parts closely follow Tom Salanderer’s MK2 Clone “Dolly”, with some customizations for the parts I ordered from AliExpress.

I’m getting what I consider absolutely ridiculously good results out of this $250 printer, when compared side-by-side to the same models printed off an Original MK2s.

Syanna Buckle Set – The Witcher 3D Print Model
Summary
About The Model
Here we have a pair of buckles for Sylvia Anna’s (Syanna’s) outfit in the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
They are used as follows:
Large buckle – upper waist – 55mm strap.
Small buckle – lower waist – 25mm strap
Obviously being plastic these have a limit on their weight bearing compared to metal, so I suggest a hidden secondary support on the belts, This being said, the largest one has been tested bearing up to 30kg of weight (in PLA at 100% infill) and passed not breaking, so are more resilient than expected.

Mastercrafted Wolven Silver Sword – The Witcher 3D Print Model
Summary
Every budding Witcher needs their trusty twin swords, and here we have the Mastercrafted Wolven Silver sword from the Witcher 3. (Steel available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2761042)
Being scaled to the lore and the game files, the hilt is just over 12″ long, and the blade a further 38″. A pair of holes are present down the blade in order to house two 2.5 x 1m long carbon fibre cores and keep everything together. These are designed to poke slightly out of the blade and into the hilt for truer centering. A second hole also runs down the length of the hilt and into the blade in order to contain a 1/8″ x 3/8″ steel core.
The grip is designed so that you can wrap a 3mm thick leather cord around them and have a true look to the game designs.
The runes read “One made of silver” / “for creatures” as a callback to an in-game quote, as well as “Valentine Costumes” (my cosplay brand) – if you wish I am willing to customise this file with your own text or different runes (price dependant on changes) – please feel free to contact me if you’re interested in this service.
Due to common transportation issues with large blades such as this, it is designed to come apart where the blade and hilt meet. If you attach the hilt to the aforementioned metal core, you can then drill a 5mm hole in the core at the point where a hole features in the top of the blade (Blade_2 file), and then use a 5mm binding screw to hold it all together.
Please feel free to use / modify this model as you wish, but credit is always appreciated.

Hey guys it’s your boy タイガーエース1945 here to announce that from now on this page will be 100% anime 100% of the time! Please head on over to the world at war group to vote on your favorite tank-waifu to be ma………………………………..but seriously though, I had Valkyria Chronicles in my steam library for about 2 years now and I finally found the time to beat it. If you guys haven’t played it’s a Japanese game set in an alternate earth WW2 where you play as a militia group defending their home country Gallia (Poland/Belgium) against a military invasion from The Empire (Germany) on one side and espionage/political takeover by The Federation (Russia/Allies) on the other. Aside from the Anime components of the story (Honestly the most boring parts) the game not only focuses on but handles quite well some of the more touchy subjects of the war that are commonly ignored by most games. The game-play is a combination of turn based, first person shooter, and Real time strategy. I honestly don’t know how to explain it better but it’s a whole bunch of fun…… no I’m not being paid to say this, I actually liked the game…..
I probably won’t be doing much of these fantasy tanks in the future, but this one was allot of fun to make and allowed me to practice modeling techniques that aren’t usually used. Probably won’t be doing any more stuff from the game either…….but if for some crazy reason one of you motivated individuals would like to I don’t know write some board game rules or something shoot me a PM, I would love to help ………

Clippy the Instant Noodles Pal 3D Print Model

Clippy was born out of the eternal frustration of having to find heavy, flat and somewhat heat proof object to lay over an instant noodle cup while it is cooking.

Attack 6: Pass the Lack
Once I lit the Lack, the next step was to get the power cables out of the stack and filament into the stack…
I looked at some at Home Depot, saw some on Thinkgiverse, decided instead to make my own passthroughs for it as I wanted a single port/type that could be used for multiple things. So far I’ve built a filament filter insert as well as cable inserts, (and a blankoff), I’m sure I’ll come up with a few more as time goes on…
As always, comments are greatly appreciated, If you’ve made/fixed something to work better please let me know so I can fix it for others.

Another simple build:
Print the parts as needed.
For each port use 2 1/8″ a hole saw to drill each port.
Insert the port through the table, tap it down with a rubber mallet flush, snap the lock ring on the bottom to finish off the edge.
4a. For the filament filter pass-through cut a piece of foam to fit in the filter, snap the bottom on, then use a large needle/stiff wire to push holes through for each of the openings. pulling the filament to the side when you’re done with it will lock it in place.
4b. for the Wire passthroughs feed your wires through, pop in a cover, and done!
