Spitfire model
Spitfire (Supermarine)This is my rendition of the Supermarine Spitfire.I modeled this Spitfire in honor of my uncle who was shot down over the mediterranean in this historic fighter.This model is rigged and animated with moving flaps, ailerons, rudder, landing gear, prop, radio hatch,canopy and access hatch.The scene consists of a quick twenty second animation of the startup (with backfires), takeoff and flight (with some gunfire) of the Spitfire. I also included maps for the prop blur, exhaust fire and gunshots.The props rotate at a fairly accurate 1400rpm, and the propeller blades transition to a map of the blurredspinning blades to avoid the extreme rendering time when using motion blur.Thanks & enjoy!

Medieval Norman Helmet
This is a model of a Norman nasal helmet. The nasal helmet was a type of combat helmet characterised by the possession of a projecting bar covering the nose and thus protecting the centre of the face; it was of Western European origins and was used from the Early Middle Ages until the High Middle Ages.The model is in real-world scale. It was created in Autodesk 3ds Max 2012 and was rendered using mental ray renderer.There are 10 texture maps included (diffuse, specular, glossiness, normal map and PBR textures: Albedo, height, metallic, roughness and normal map); all in square 4096×4096 resolutions. All objects, texture maps and materials are properly named for easy use and are contained in a seperate layer. The 3D model was created accurately, in real units of measurement, qualitatively and maximally close to the original.
In term of texturing, there are some slightly amount of dirt and wear details for realistic rendering, since not all objects in real life are brand new. You might have to re-link the texture path on your computer in order for that to work.
