These buildings are designed for use with 28mm wargames figures and represent the commercial area of a Saxon burh of the Alfred the Great era during the viking invasions. There is a stable, smithy with anvil and fire, and several generic stalls/buildings They were printed in PLA but only because it was what I had at the time! NOTE: The modular wooden walls are not in this .stl file but are in a separate posting in Thingiverse

Saxon Burh Hut (on Roman Walls) 3D Print Model
These buildings are designed for use with 28mm wargames figures and represent a saxon hut of the Alfred the Great era during the viking invasions. It is built against the ruins of a roman wall and was inspired by the musings of Uhtred about London in the Bernard Cornwell’s ‘The Last Kingdom’ series of books. The chapel is compatible with the Saxon Burh fort and buildings elsewhere in Thingiverse. It was printed in PLA but only because it was what I had at the time! (the figure is a 28mm plastic viking from the Gripping Beast wargaming collection, though I did splash some paint on it)

Saxon Burh A frame hut 3D Print Model
This building is designed for use with 28mm wargames figures and represents a saxon hut of the Alfred the Great era during the viking invasions. It represents the dwelling of a hard up saxon peasant The hut is compatible with my Saxon Burh fort and buildings elsewhere in Thingiverse (searching ‘Burh’ should bring them all up). It was printed in PLA but only because it was what I had at the time!
