  • 30mm Calibration cube for SLA printers – Hollow 3D Print Model

30mm Calibration cube for SLA printers – Hollow 3D Print Model

    Summary
This is a hollow cube with drain holes to minimise suction. Stick it on some supports, print it and measure
When I used this on my Moai with v1.15 firmware, using “m” as the relevant cube measurement, the formula to calculate what put in the relevant X or Y entry is:
    900*(30/m)
I haven’t used it on my D7 yest, but I’m sure you can work out what formula you would need to use.

  • Autolevel mount for V6 delta printers 3D Print Model

Autolevel mount for V6 delta printers 3D Print Model

    Summary
    Why
This is a quick design for an autolevel probe that should fit most Delta effectors like the Anycubic Kossel, FLsun etc. etc.
The probe is specifically made to support Delta printers with effectors that clamp the top end of a bowden V6 extruder. It’s probably too short for a V5 hotend.
    Features
    Fits most Delta effectors
Designed to match the e3d v6 hotend in length
Uses standard M3 mounting hardware (nut and bolts)
    Uses standard endstop switch
    Instructions
Print it in PETG with multiple walls and slow speed to get the strongest part.
Print without a fan to get the strongest part.
    No supports required
If you encounter inconsistent bed leveling, your effector may not be entirely level. Mount the probe closer to the center, or upgrade to a hotend-mounted autolevel probe.
    Open Source
As always the original design file (fusion360) is included, so feel free to improve it (or learn from it)!

    Summary
This is my version of filament guide based on this one:https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1240326
A larger pipe will keep more straight the filament at the end of the reel, when the loops are smaller.
    Suitable for printers:
    Prusa
    Anet
    Geetech
    CTC printers
…and many models with a frame 5mm width.

  • Interlocking MacBook Pro Retina Stand for Smaller Printers 3D Print Model

Interlocking MacBook Pro Retina Stand for Smaller Printers 3D Print Model

    Summary
For those of you with a smaller printer like me, this interlocking remix of Thomasdc_’s geometric MacBook Pro Retina Stand (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1330829) will allow you to print this great stand in multiple parts without having to glue or fasten anything together.
The parts are an interlocking slide fit that’s very secure, and is best assembled via tapping them together with a weighted object (i.e. small hammer or large wrench)
The gap in the interlocking pieces is 0.15mm so layer heights above this will be tight. I have printed at 0.175 and it’s a nice tight fit.

Note that gap between interlocking parts is 0.15mm. Layer heights will affect the fit of these parts because of orientation of the locking features. They are oriented this way because the stand is very sturdy as a result and doesn’t require glue.
    Post-Printing
Inspect the interlocking channels for zits and other inconsistencies clean the up as required. Mine came out nice and didn’t require any clean up.
    How I Designed This
I traced the .STL file in Fusion 360 and created my own part splits and locking features once I had the outline traced. I changed the bracing just because I like the look of triangles.
