Summary
Convert LED glow stick into a miniature lightsaber toy. I found these at Home Depot and couldn’t help but make a handle for them to make them look more like a lightsaber for my daughter. I just printed the two halves and you can either glue them together or use a zip tie. -

I tried to fix it in 3d builder, just placing the parts together and the extracing excess from the parts.
There are a very thin line of material that should be removed on the bottom parts, but since its so thin my Slic3r doesnt care about it anyway..

ADT Night Alarm Cover 3D Print Model
Summary
The alarm panel in the bedroom is really bright at night and I always end up covering it with an item of clothing. So I decided to make a better fix for this problem. The cover is for an ADT alarm screen and only covers the screen so the buttons are still usable. The design is made to wedge in the sides as there is no top lip above the screen to latch too.
Hope this makes your room darker like mine and you get a better night sleep. 🙂

Archer Night Vision Goggles 3D Print Model
Summary
I made these for a Archer Halloween costume. I used a shade 5 green welding shield for the lenses with a green vinyl mesh overlay. Visibility is pretty good. I used a rubber strap from a pair of swim goggles for the strap and I padded the interior of the lenses with foam. For the bridge of the nose I used a small part of the swim goggle strap that was excess.
Im making it public, so I can’t stop you from printing and selling it, all I ask is that you give me credit for the model.

Trunk for Smiling Owl night light 3D Print Model
Summary
Printed a pink Smiling Owl (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1320992) for my wife that looked like it would make a good night light. So, I took this cool Trunk Planter for a cactus (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:292837), modified it to fit an LED lamp from Ikea (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50302670/), and further modified it to tightly hold on to the Smiling Owl. Voila! Pink reading light. It’s much too bright for a night light. A lower wattage LED, or variable brightness LED, would make it better for a night light. Still, looks great and my wife is happy. I also painted the stump to highlight some details.

Modified STL
Used 123D Design to fill in the planter’s top opening then used the Smiling Owl (enlarged by 0.4mm) as a cut-out on the stump. Cut a cylinder for housing the LED and rectangles for routing the power cable.
