Minimalistic fan bracket / mount for 40mm fan on a nema 17 3D Print Model
Summary
I wanted to put a fan to a drive motor (nema 17), but do not have a lot of space for it, so I created this minimalistic fan bracket. Not ideal in any way, shape or form, but it does provide some cooling when there is little room for a fan.
Mount the bracket to a 40mm fan and glue the centre part with CA glue to the motor. Nothing more to it.

Print using a strong material and with lots of infill, since the arms are flimsy and need all the strength they can get. -

NEMA 17 Stepper Motor Mount 3D Print Model
Summary
First of all this is mostly just for example. This is custom made for my particular need. You can buy them for $3.50 plus $5+ for shipping but I needed a very specific height, and in my circumstance the motor was not going to get hot, so this made sense and was VERY cheap. Not to mention that even though it seemed to take forever (6 hours at hi-res) it was faster than even Amazon Uber delivery!
If you find this to your liking, simply load the Sketchup model, push-pull the underside of the bottom to your height needs and butta-bing-butta-boom Bob’s your uncle.

nema 17 2020 mount 3D Print Model
Summary
ok so here is yet another Z motor mount. I designed this one to place the motor a little lower in the frame and to keep all amount of extra printing inside the bed movement area as little as possible, and seeing as how I like everything lined up perfect I added the alignment bumps. No supports will be needed for this print. -

Nema 17 Fan Mount 3D Print Model
Summary
This remix of ChrisMagno’s design was made so the fan could be assembled on the side of the motor in conjunction with beamtech’s Nema 17 mount (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1540632). It should also work standalone or with other mounts.
