    Summary
    The model is kind of ugly and the base doesn’t fit the stand quite right but I am proud of how it turned out never the less. This vase is meant to be printed at 100% scale in 2 sections then joined together (allowing it to print on a Wanhao Duplicator).

    I decided to print the top section upside down so the seam where it joins is high quality
    Post-Printing
    Sanded down the upper and lower section seam a bit to achieve a tight interference fit. Glued together with epoxy.
    Roughed the whole outer surface with Scotch-Brite to prep for paint (could have used various sand papers and got a better finish)
    Painted with Porsche Yellow and Ford Blue allowing gradient. Clear coated to seal.
