How I Designed This
This keychain was the first 3D design I ever made — in 2016!! I took an EPS copy of the logo and converted it to SVG, then brought it into Tinkercad. I made the quarter-sized circle, and layered the logo over it, then punched out the hole. This is version 2, I’ve cleaned up the underside a little so that it prints better. -

I designed this to be printed in Sainsmart TPU in dual color, as seen in my picture. The layers stuck really, really well! In fact, they may be bonded even better than layers of the same color!

I print at 220C/50C on glass with AquaNet. My initial layer height is 0.2mm and my layer height is 0.1mm. My top and bottom layers are 0.8mm thick (8 layers). I print around 20mm/s with the fan at 100%.
How I Designed This
Designing a Keychain (Fusion 360)
Simply find the logo you wish to design, save it, and open Fusion. Now go to the “insert canvas” option and insert the image. Next, trace it with the tools in the sketch tab (I like arches, circles, lines, and conic curves with roh set to 0.5). FInally, extrude whatever you want to be printed and add a small ring for your keychain! -

Honda motorcycle keychain (a remix) 3D Print Model
Summary
I scaled it down to be 50mm long and added a solid backing between the wings so I could do a filament color switch. Printed using TPU.
First I created a 2D outline using the following command in OpenSCAD:
projection(cut=false) import_stl(“/full/path/to/stl”);
and exported a DXF.
Then I imported the DXF into Onshape to remove the gaps between the wings and extrude it a few mm, then exported that as STL.

The approach is simple and everyone can help with its own means, mine: 3D printing.
The design that I am proposing for download is inspired by road signs, which can be found in Australia on the roadside, kangaroo or koala (protected in this country) being replaced here by the different animals on the farm or of the forest. This project is a call for the protection of all animals and the living in general!
