Bombard – artillery-type siege weapon of the XV-XVI centuries 3D Model
Heavy siege bombard was intended to destroy the city walls. The initial velocity of the projectile fired from the bombardment did not exceed 200 m/s. The stone nuclei flew for a distance of up to 2 km, but since the energy of the impact quickly fell with such distance, the bombard had to be placed several tens of meters from the fortress walls and when covered by wooden shields.
