Pattern Weight from Washers 3D Print Model
Summary
I had some steel fender washers (inner diameter 0.25″, outer diameter 1.25″) and wanted to use them as weights for sewing patterns, so I whipped up this design in Fusion360 to make a little holder for them. Each holder fits 4 of washers I have. Be warned: It’s a tight fit and you’re unlikely to get your washers back without destroying the print.
I designed this to be printed at 0.2mm layer height and 0.5mm extrusion width.

Spinosaurus Emerging from Sea 3D Print Model
Summary
The large Spinosaur dinosaur emerges from the sea after eating his share of fish and looking for other prey. His left claws are just starting to show.
Spinosaurus was among the largest of all known carnivorous dinosaurs, nearly as large as or even larger than Tyrannosaurus or the less familiar Giganotosaurus. Scientists believe it lived on land and in the sea eating both aquatic and terrestrial prey. Best known for his sail fins and arms similar to the Tyrannosaurus with sharp claws.

Pin-Tumbler Lock from MechanicalGIFs.com 3D Print Model

Instructions
This is a laser-cutter project, which will require a supply of acrylic sheet and a laser cutter able to cut at least 1/8″ (3mm) acrylic. The model can be made entirely of plain clear acrylic, or the pins, key, or other parts can optionally be made of colored acrylic.
The file PinTumblerLock.dxf contains all the cutting and engraving patterns in separate layers. Lines in yellow are meant to be engraved, all other colors of line should be cut. Use the speed and power settings appropriate for your laser cutter: every one is different.
There are three layers in the DXF file:
A1 should be cut in 1/16″ (1.6mm) acrylic
A3 should be cut in 1/8″ (3mm) acrylic
G should be cut in 0.020 PETG or similar film.
The thicknesses can be changed if you like, just adjust the length of the screws that hold the model together to match the total thickness of the material you choose to use. The key and barrel part must add up the nearly the same thickness as the body of the lock (e.g. 1/16 + 1/16 = 1/8 as specified). The PETG film can be anything you like that is about 0.5mm thick. Its purpose is to provide a bit of space so the moving parts can slide freely. Only the A1 layer must be clear: all the other parts could be opaque if you like. (The model is particularly attractive if you make the upper and lower pins out of differently-colored plastic.)

Lock Lesson
Locks are by their nature secret, but this one lets you see inside to understand exactly how the key serves to communicate a secret code to the pins of the lock, allowing it to open.
Materials Needed
Materials needed
(1) Approximately 8″ x 8″ (200mm x 200mm) piece of 1/16″ (1.6mm) clear acrylic.
(1) Approximately 4″ x 4″ (100mm x 100mm) piece of 1/8″ (3mm) clear acrylic.
(1) Approximately 4″ x 4″ (100mm x 100mm) piece of 0.020 PETG or similar film material. (Exact thickness is not important, it is used as a spacer to allow the moving parts to slide freely.)
(2) Optionally, approximately 1″ x 2″ (25mm x 50mm) pieces of 1/8″ (3mm) colored translucent or opaque acrylic.
(5) 1/8″ (3mm) x 1″ (25mm) very light spring.
(6) #2 x 5/16″ round-head machine screw (or metric M2 x 8)

Anti-Jamming-Rattling-Plate for Djin from KS 3D Print Model
Summary
Hi there!
I have enjoyed Djin wallet without this plate.
However, as other people said, I also had a little on my mind about coin-jamming and rattling.
So I desinged this plate.
Please note that I strongly recommend to print this with soft material like rubber not ABS or PLA.
If you choose such hard material, you need to apply soft cloth or sometning with both-side-tape to absorb rattling sound.

My son was a fan of the movie. I thought printing the bolt from the Iron Giant’s ear would be a neat experience for him. I took a little artistic liberty with how the thread terminated in the image. It didn’t sit well that the thread helix appears to turn into a ring instead of terminating at a chamfer or spiraling inward. -

Full Size Darth Vader Helmet from Star Wars 3D Print Model
Summary
I’ve had my eye on Hybryda’s excellent Darth Vader bust and I decided once I got my CR-10 to print it full size. Then I thought, I wonder if I can hollow it out? So I did.
I’ve broken it up into pieces, you’ll see the mask is in one piece, but I’ve also cut the chin off to make it easier to print the mask and chin separately. There are 2 options for the back of the mask, the full back of the head and just the lower half. Since the back is covered in the helmet done, you can decide which you want to use.
The helmet dome itself are broken up into four pieces for the flared section and the top of the dome is a single piece.
I still need to remodel the mask tusks, I will post them when they are ready. I have left the gaps in the mask and chin vents in place o make it easier to print, just cut them out with a Dremel and back with some diamond shaped grill to finish the look.
I have printed all the pieces (currently printing the top of the dome, its going to take a while). They all printed well, I still need to play around with the settings on my CR-10, but its done a pretty good job, but will need a lot of sanding and filling.
I will post more photos over the next couple of weeks and I get more done on it.
