The AIM-7 Sparrow is a medium-range semi-active radar homing air-to-air missile operated by the United States Air Force, US Navy, and USMC as well as various allied air forces and navies. Sparrow and its derivatives were the West’s principal beyond visual range (BVR) air-to-air missile from the late 1950s until the 1990s. It remains in service, although it is being phased out in aviation applications in favor of the more advanced AIM-120 AMRAAM. The armed forces of Japan employ the sparrow missile, though it is being phased out and replaced by the Mitsubishi AAM-4. NATO pilots use the brevity code Fox One in radio communication to signal launch of a Semi-Active Radar Homing Missile such as the Sparrow.

The texture01 is of ‘Jolly Rogers’ The texture02 is of Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center (NSAWC), which has long been a source for uniquely camouflaged aircraft, dating all the way back to its roots when it was known as the Naval Fighter Weapons School (NFWS), ‘Top Gun’, based at NAS Miramar. With Tomcats entering service in the training role as aggressors in the 1990s, it was only natural that they should get some unique camouflages applied to them. This Tomcat is one such example, sporting a blue splinter camouflage intended to represent the blue camouflages of Eastern Block Flankers. The camouflage scheme comes complete with a large white radome, just as found on the Su-27 ‘FLANKER’. The texture03 is of Imperial Iranian Air Force(IIAF) Including full weapons load(AIM-54,AIM-4,AIM-9), cockpit and high resolution textures. Includes specularity map.
