The Alvis Streaker Load Version , having been built by Alvis, Coventry, England as a private venture.I know that the UK MoD didn’t purchase any and understand that there were no sales to overseas customers.It’s basically the front end of a Spartan but with no upper side plates and roof. The FV107 Scimitar is an armoured reconnaissance vehicle (sometimes classed as a light tank) used by the British Army. It was manufactured by Alvis in Coventry. It is very similar to the FV101 Scorpion, but mounts a high velocity 30 mm L21 RARDEN cannon instead of a 76 mm gun. It was issued to Royal Armoured Corps armoured regiments in the reconnaissance role.The FV107 Scimitar is one of the CVR(T) series of vehicles. The Alvis FV101 Scorpion is a British armoured reconnaissance vehicle with a 76 mm gun. It was the lead vehicle and the fire support type in the Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked), CVR(T), family of seven armoured vehicles. Manufactured by Alvis, it was introduced into service with the British Army in 1973 and served until 1994.
