Ladybug (2) (Ornatrix fur) 3D Model
Created by a more than 20 years VFX and 3D animation industry veteran.Photo-realistic model of a ladybug suitable for extreme close up. All renders and shaders done in V-Ray. I also have for sale here a previous version of a ladybug that was less detailed and not suitable for close-up.Fur done with Ornatrix. You can use the free demo version to render but you need to buy the Ornatrix plugin by Ephere to modify the fur and save the scene. Density and thickness of fur is controlled by maps. The polygon count is without the fur. This scene also needs the free open source Bercon noise that you can download on github, just seach on Google for: BerconMaps dll githubIncluded is a high quality HDR 360 degree image (105CremPatioFeuille4K.exr: 4092 x 2046) for environment reflection that you can also use for other projects.V-Ray elements are setup to provide all the passes to make a realistic compositing. Occlusion, Zdepth and RGB masks.Real world scale units: cmThe following render elements are setup, you just need to activate the render elements: ZDepth. Occlusion (VRayExtraTex) and Multimattes (RGB masks). The parts named Elytron and Pronotum use SSS (Translucency) in their base material, you can accelerate the render by turning the translucencies off.You can accelerate the render also by reducing the texture resolution of the 8k ones when you don’t need an extreme close-up.2 poses are included: with the shell closed, wings folded and with the shell open, wings deployed.Shader: this scene uses an osl shader that is included along with the texture (it a file with a .osl extension). In the V-Ray material for the eyes. Here is a maxscript to open the shell and unhide the wings:$helper_PointElytRRotCurrent.transform = $helper_PointElytRRotOpen.transform$helper_PointElytLRotCurrent.transform = $helper_PointElytLRotOpen.transformunhide $Ladybug_wingsAnd to revert to shell closed pose and hide the wings:$helper_PointElytLRotCurrent.transform = $helper_PointElytLRotClosed.transform$helper_PointElytRRotCurrent.transform = $helper_PointElytRRotClosed.transformhide $Ladybug_wingsTextures:105CremPatioFeuille4K.exr 4092x2046antennas_thickness.bmp 2048x2048antman_coccinelle_abdomenBump_v001_002.jpg 4096x4096antman_coccinelle_abdomenSpec_v001_003.jpg 4096x4096antman_coccinelle_spec_v001_003.jpg 8192x8192antman_coccinelle_topacity_v001_002.jpg 4096x4096antman_coccinelle_wingsBump_v001_002.jpg 4096x4096backdropFabric.jpg 5000x5000Ladybug_abdoLegsDIFF.jpg 8192x8192Ladybug_abdomen1-DM8192_u0_v0.exr 2048x2048Ladybug_abdomen_furDensity-TM_u0_v0.tif 4096x4096Ladybug_abdomenLegs_bump_v001.jpg 8192x8192Ladybug_antenna1-DM.exr 2048x2048Ladybug_antenna2_sss.jpg 8192x8192Ladybug_armMiddle_brushDensity-TM_u0_v0.tif 4096x4096Ladybug_armMiddle_density-TM_u0_v0.tif 4096x4096Ladybug_armMiddle_thickness-TM_u0_v0.tif 4096x4096Ladybug_armsFront_brushDensity-TM_u0_v0.tif 4096x4096Ladybug_armsFront_density-TM_u0_v0.tif 4096x4096Ladybug_armsFront_thickness-TM_u0_v0.tif 4096x4096Ladybug_diffuse_v010.jpg 8192x8192Ladybug_elytron1PourSSSmask1-TM_u1_v0.tga 8192x8192Ladybug_elytron_furDensity-TM_u1_v0.tif 4096x4096Ladybug_elytronPronoScut_bump_v001.jpg 8192x8192Ladybug_eyeBump_v001.jpg 8192x8192Ladybug_head_bump_v001.jpg 8192x8192Ladybug_head_thickness-TM_u2_v0.tif 4096x4096Ladybug_headDIFF_v002.jpg 8192x8192Ladybug_headDIFF_v004.jpg 8192x8192Ladybug_legs_brushDensity-TM_u0_v0.tif 4096x4096Ladybug_legs_density-TM_u0_v0.ti

Accurate model of a Mid-Century writing desk, consisting of three woodden drawers with lacquered metal handles, table top in yellow formica, black metal legs structure and brass glides. Manufactured in Italy in the 1950s.Detailed for close-up renders. The wood shows slight traces of use. If you prefer a version without scratches and rust there is another material already prepared, just drag and drop it.This model is suitable for use in broadcast, high-res film close-up, advertising, design visualization, etc.Originally modelled in 3ds Max 2014 and shaded for rendering in V-Ray 3.20.03.Previews rendered with V-Ray 3.20.03.Model created to real world scale. Units used: centimeters. Dimensions: H 75cm, W 140cm, D 65cm.All the objects are properly named and organized into groups and layers.Turbosmooth modifiers are not collapsed. The materials are grouped into a Multi/Sub-Object and logically named. The Wood texture is 4k, the other maps are between 2k and 4k.3ds Max, FBX, OBJ versions don’t include materials.FBX and OBJ are exported to both unsmooth and smooth version (1 subdivision). The model is Unwrapped (overlapping) except for the screws under the top (uv mapping). The textures are included.Lights, camera and a background plane are in the scene. No additional plug-ins needed to open the scene.
