Lithium Battery Tinkerers light 3D Print Model
Summary
I recycled some old 18650 Lithium cells from a broken notebook battery-pack and made small desk lamps for tinkering/soldering/sewing etc.
AS LED any will do but I recommend ones at around 1W to 3W max. the one I used has V_Forward of 3.1V and I_Forward of 350mA.
Which got me to a 3.5 Ohms resistor, at least 1/3 W better 1W resistor.

I made this wall hanging battery holder for my buddy’s shop. Breadboard 9V Battery Box 3D Print Model
Summary
This thing fits a 9V Battery Box (with the cover removed) to a standard breadboard. Because the breadboard is made of soft plastic, its dovetails do not provide a bomb-proof fit, but it’s good for keeping your battery from flying around. The battery box makes a friction fit with the holder. Since it does not require the cover to be fitted, some cheaper, fatter 9V batteries can be used. Use it with your favorite prototype circuit, like the Atari Punk Console. Also see my breadboard speaker amplifier. -

Realistic DX-350 Shortwave Radio Battery Door 3D Print Model
Summary
I’ve had this DX-350 radio forever, and I’ve never had a battery door for it, until now!
If you’re reading this, you may be the only other person on earth that still has a DX-350.
I went through 12 versions until I had one that fit tight, went on and off easily, and didn’t interfere with anything under the door. I have no idea what the original looked like, or how it worked, so this could be better or worse. No idea. If yours is also missing altogether, this one is definitely better 🙂
Post-printing break off the small support at the end of the door clip. It’s only .4mm wide and easily pops right off.
To install the door, slip the hinge end in first, then pull the door back with the finger slot to allow the tongue to fit into the slot. I used plain old PLA, and it was plenty flexible. I’ve had it on and off 10x without issue.

C Battery Eliminator 3D Print Model
Summary
In the past, I’ve had some devices which required C batteries, mostly LED lights. I’d use a large dowel rod and a screw, but with 3d printing no need to get the dowel…
Using these devices for auxiliary lighting could continue to use quite a few batteries. My lamp, for example, requires 3 C batteries, at 1.5 volts each equals 4.5 volts, or close enough to use a USB 5v power supply. Even with multiple batteries, many of these devices wire the batteries in series, so you only need to make two connections, one to the positive, and one to the negative side.

To replace one battery print one body and two caps (one for each end). The bottom of the body I added a removable circle to assist with bonding to the build plate.
I’d recommend printing in high-quality mode, I didn’t need supports or rafts. 20% infill worked fine for me.

4s10p 18650 battery holder for 14.4 volt with 1/4 inch bolt holes and tab slots 3D Print Model
Summary
This is a 4s10p, 18650 battery holder for a 12 volts system (with a low voltage cutout and a DC-DC buck). Nominal voltage of 14.4 with a high of 16.8 volts. It holds 40, 18mm cells snugly.
I added a 1/4 inch bolt hole to bind everything together, mount to a case.
One of each file should be printed to get the tabbing and alignment correct. They’re labeled top and bottom, but they could be used the other way–top as bottom and bottom as top (or left side right side, etc).
Each staggered row should be tabbed down the middle with cells alternating anode – cathode – anode – cathode (in series) and bridged over the tabbing slots to the next row with the cells aligned the same as the previous (in parallel). If you don’t understand how this works, study up.

USB Solar Battery Pack 3D Print Model
Summary
Here we have a Solar Battery Charger for all your gadgets. Charger includes a 2W solar panel, USB 5V step up, one 2000 mAh 3.7v 18650 Lithium battery and a TP4056 charge controller. I designed this to charge in one day of full sun, you can certainly add more batteries for your project if you’d like. This can also be charged via the micro USB. Parts snap together, I glued mine as I don’t plan on opening it but my first prototype was not glued and is still in holding up well, even printed in PLA. I printed the parts in ABS for the final version at 50%.
