Standing flags 3D Model
Description: A collection of national flags,
standing upright. These are the
kind intended for interior
use…classrooms, conferences etc,
standing a total of about 9 ft high
and
can be switched to any other
design fairly easily. Simply prepare
a 512×307 pixel image of the flag
required and swap it in the
SketchUp Material editor. The USA
pole is surmounted by an eagle; all
the others have a simple ball shape.
It’s a separate group, so you can
add your own. -

British Flags 3D Model
Description: Flags of the British services.
Included are the red, white and
blue ensigns, the RAF ensign and
the union flag (it’s only a “jack”
when it’s on a ship.) These have
been designed specifically to fit on
the Cenotaph in Whitehall, London
and are consequently about 15 ft
high and angled at 2.5 degrees to
the vertical. If you require such a
flag for any other nation or state, it
can easily be modified by creating
a 512×307 pixel image of the
required flag and swapping it in the
SketchUp Material Editor. It should
automatically map correctly. You
might have to replace the crown on
the top of the pole with something
else.
