Tom Faulkner – Odessa cabinet 3D Model
Tom Faulkner – Odessa cabinet.
The lines of Odessa were inspired after a trip to Europe and Russia a combination of vaulted church ceilings and Russian constructivist paintings.
The cabinet has a rippled sycamore veneer and an applied decoration of sharp, tapered lines in either bronze or steel. It is a stunning statement piece.
Jonathan Sainsbury – Regency convex mirror.
This plain, carved, giltwood and ebonised convex looking glass has a moulded inner frame and a compound moulded outer frame with decorative gilded balls punctuating the bronzed ground.
Laura Kirar – Tassel lamp.
Fringe is a fashion favorite, and Laura Kirar has taken it into the home. This ivory ‘tassel’ lamp has an ivory microfiber shade and is lined in ivory cotton. It also has a top diffuser.

The British learned from their experiences with the DAK in North Africa that it was imperitive to retain some control of the battlefield after the battle in order to recover damaged AFV’s.
The first custom built Armoured Recovery Vehicle was the Grant ARV Mk.I, but other chassis were soon converted. The Sherman III (M4A2) and Mk.V (M4A4) were the natural choices for conversion to ARV’s as these marks represented the largest number of Shermans supplied to Britain. Both ARV’s saw wide service in NW Europe. -

The Sherman M-50 and the Sherman M-51, both known abroad as the Super Sherman, were modified versions of the American M4 Sherman tank that served with the Israel Defense Forces from the mid-1950s to early 1980s. The M-51 was also referred to as the Isherman (i.e. Israeli Sherman). This powerful Sherman saw combat in the Six-Day War in 1967 as well as in the 1973 Yom Kippur War. -
