Wanhao/Monoprice i3 Mini Fan Shroud (Mk 2) 3D Print Model
Summary
This product allows i3 Mini users to effectively turn off print cooling and then turn it back on once the initial layer is finished. Without stopping the print or making permanent mods to the machine! This part can drastically improve bed adhesion on the lovable i3 Mini.
The i3 Mini lacks a second fan for cooling the printed filament. Instead it has a baffle that splits the airflow from a single fan onto the build bed as well as the hotend. This design choice likely helps to keep the i3 Mini inexpensive, but also creates a major flaw in that there is no control over print cooling as the one fan must remain on at all times to control the hotend temperature.
I found that the i3 Mini therefore required a fair amount of work to get decent bed adhesion. Blue tape, glue, slow speeds, etc were all necessary to get a usable initial layer. Unless the airflow is blocked from reaching the build plate. So I created this fan shroud which slides on and off easily; allowing the user to effectively turn off the fan for the first couple layers (or the entire build if so desired). Once a solid layer is complete and print cooling is needed, the user only needs to gently tug the shroud off and the rest of the build goes as expected without interruption.

Trapezoid Area, A= (a+b) × h /2, why?
Given any trapezoid, if the parallel top and bottom are a and b, respectively, and the corresponding height (altitude) is h, the area is (a+b) × h /2. But why?
To see why, we take two congruent copies of a trapezoid and make a parallelogram with the same height and a base of (a+b). Such a parallelogram can be easily converted to a rectangle with a base of (a+b) and height (h, or width), and, accordingly, an area of (a+b) × h. Why do we have to divide that by 2? Well, it is because we want to know the area of the trapezoid. Of course, there are other ways to explain it. One way or the other, it goes back to what we know about rectangles or other shapes.
Two versions are provided to demonstrate the process behind A= (a+b) × h /2. The trapezoid is just a random one. Have fun.

2 Mode Slider 3D Print Model
Summary
Just a simple slider with a small cutout to make room for a label on each side. Good for use on things like dishwashers to mark as clean or dirty etc. You just need to make a label for each side and stick them onto the indented portion. I have included the solidworks parts so that you can add raised text or art etc to the base if so desired!

Notes:
Some printers have issues printing the little notches on the base and face-plate. If you have these issues, use supports.
Post-Printing
the face-plate will be a tight fit into the base, but align all four corners with the slider under the face-plate and squeeze the midpoints of the face-plate. Push, and it should click in.
NOTE: It is VERY hard to remove the face-plate after install. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE EVERYTHING THE WAY YOU WANT IT FIRST! -

Thunderbird 2 and Pod 3D Print Model
Summary
This model is an updated version of my TB2 Pod (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1395981). This new version, however, does not use components from the (wonderful!) Thunderbird 2 model by Len Hickman; instead, it is a remix of my latest improvements to the one-piece model by Tobz. I split the model up for easier printing.
Note: the legs shown in the screenshots are not included in this “work-in-progress” release. These may be included in a future release.

Bath Interferometer version 2 3D Print Model
Summary
Modification to the original Bath. The Fusion360 File has been parameterised to make different size for:
Side Mirror, Lens holder, Cube beam splitter, and Laser holder.
Added hole at back of base to allow laser to be mounted there as well as on the side.
Optimized to be placed on the 3D Printed stage with the Y flex stage.
All parts have been slightly modified from version one.
Screws needed are:
1 – 2-56 1/2 inch for the mirror holder.
2 – 6-32 1/2 inch. For the lens holder and laser holder.
1 6-32 hex nut for lens holder.
Tap the holes for these using taps. -
Phone Stand/Charger – Pixel 2 with Trianium XL Case Wallet 3D Print Model

This stand & charger is for the Pixel 2 XL as it is fitted with the Trianium Wallet case (available on Amazon and Ebay). It uses the charger and cable that comes with the phone. It is best to CA (super glue) the cable end in the phone once you’ve adjusted it to the proper mating height. -

lock with wire clip for Creality Ender 2 wire chain 3D Print Model

I remixed the lock of the Ender Cable Chain by ninne (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2498801) with the clamp of the bowden wire clips by Evanrude (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2328449) to attach the hot bed cable to the chain. It prevents the hot bed calbe from scrubbing the chain and the power cable. -
