The M109 is an American 155 mm turreted self-propelled howitzer, first introduced in the early 1960s. It has been upgraded a number of times, most recently to the M109A7. The M109 family is the most common western indirect-fire support weapon of maneuver brigades of armored and mechanized infantry divisions.The M109 has a crew of six: the section chief, the driver, the gunner, the assistant gunner and two ammunition handlers. The gunner aims the cannon left or right (deflection), the assistant gunner aims the cannon up and down (quadrant). The M109A6 Paladin needs only a crew of four: the commander, driver, gunner and an ammunition loader.

T-155 Firtina 3D Model
The T-155 Firtina is a 155mm 52 caliber self-propelled howitzer manufactured in Turkey by a consortium of Turkish Defense Companies based on the South-Korean-made K9 Thunder 155mm self-propelled howitzer designed and manufactured by Samsung Techwin. The program of the Firtina was launched to meet the request of the Turkish army for a new self-propelled howitzer. In 2001, two prototypes was order and the production was launched in 2002. According to the licence agreement with Samsung Techwin, the first eight T-155s were built in South Korea, while the remaining batch of more than 300 units would be produced in Turkey. The total reported cost of purchase and technology transfer for the Turkish government was $1 billion. From 2001 to December 2009, more than 150 units have been delivered to the Turkish Army. A total of 350 T-155 Firtina howitzers are planned to be produced. In 2011 Azerbaijan ordered 36 Firtina with a delivery in 2014.

The CAESAR platform was developed by the former GIAT Industries (now known as Nexter) and is operated by the French, Indonesian, Saudi Arabian, and Thai militaries.
